So let’s sum up Obama’s Chicago connections. His chief financial supporter was Tony Rezko, now on his way to federal prison. His spiritual adviser and mentor was the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, of “God damn America” fame. And the guy who got him his only administrative job and put him in charge of doling out $50 million is William Ayers, a terrorist who was a domestic Osama bin Laden in his youth.

A Hawaii state judge waived Family Court jurisdiction today over a New Zealand teenager accused of strangling his neighbour last year, leaving the youth liable to jail for life without parole if convicted.

The judge's decision allowed Honolulu police and prosecutors to charge Vernon Bartley, 16, as an adult, and homicide detectives immediately arrested Bartley and took him to a Honolulu Police Department cellblock, the Honolulu Star Bulletin reported.

The 16 year old accused of raping and killing an Ewa Beach woman is in police cellblock charged with first degree murder.

A 2007 Harris poll reported that in the US 8.5% of youth gamers (ages 8 to 18) “can be classified as pathological or clinically ‘addicted’ to playing video games” while another 23% say they have “felt addicted” to video games.

It is extremely unlikely these figures represent an accurate depiction of the problem since, as the APA notes, there is no clinical classification for video game addiction; and further, it is unlikely any of those questioned were qualified to self-diagnose.

Are you going to resign in protest from a charitable board, or refuse to be recruited because 30 years ago the guy recruiting you was a bomber protesting the Vietnam War, gave himself up to the FBI, who (shock and dismay) blew the intelligence so they had no case. That makes you a terrorist? I must be a hardened criminal because I worked on a loading dock once with a guy who I knew was a loan shark. John McCain consorted with financial criminals who stole money from poor retirees who lost everything in the S&L crisis, he must be a criminal too and a thief and someone who would let retirees pensions disappear on purpose. Actually he's also a racist because he accepted an endorsement from a pastor who was know as a racist.
