Seriously it makes me angry, all these warmongering hate-filled hearts can do is slander and name call and they do their best to avoid any discussion of issue.

There is no "angry left." There are millions of people who don't want to spend one more dime (or thin Euro) for a war built on lies.

It's clear the "Rabid Right," has nothing to offer for national or international leadership other than third-grade insults.

Tonight in his address via satellite to the Republican National Convention, President Bush blasted Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) critics. Invoking McCain’s time as a POW in a North Vietnamese prison, Bush compared these torturers to members of the “angry Left”:

If the Hanoi Hilton could not break John McCain’s resolve to do what is best for his country, you can be sure the angry Left never will.

That message, in a nutshell, is that Barack Obama represents hope and change and an attractive but nonthreatening wife and experience in the form of Joe Biden; whereas John McCain -- although he is a great patriot for whom the Democrats have the deepest personal respect -- is the warmongering environment-wrecking house-forgetting evil demon spawn of Satan.

Of course next week the Republicans will hold their convention, where their goal will be to present McCain as basically Abraham Lincoln with a hotter wife, while at the same time portraying the Obama-Biden ticket as Arugula Snob and the Hairplug Buffoon.

It's very easy to badmouth Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman (Independent/Republican/Democrat/Kissass) these days. Some say he's a spineless, monotoned, opportunistic, conniving, warmongering killjoy with a personality that only a necropheliac could love. Some say he's the kind of guy bad toupees would kill for, the ultimate cure for restless leg syndrome, a man who attends tailgate parties at funeral homes. And those are his supporters.

I, however, always try to put a positive spin on things. And, so, in the true spirit of bi-partisanship, I have come up with ten reasons why we should actually be grateful to jowly Joe. Here goes.

1) He has never made a sex-tape.

2) Due to the high price of gasoline, Joe has scotched plans for his cover band's "Running on Empty" tour. The band, called "The Axis of Weasels," consisted of Joe and fellow Senators David Vitter, Lindsey Graham, James Inhofe, Saxby Chamblis and "Legs" Larry Craig.

I think honestly, if the president felt John McCain were going to be the next president he would think it more appropriate to let the next president make that decision than do it on his way out. I do wonder with Sen. Obama, if president Bush thinks Sen, Obama win does he somehow think that, does he worry that Obama won’t follow through on the policy…

In a July, 2006 article in Rolling Stone -- entitled "Iran: The Next War" -- the superb journalist James Bamford detailed the shady activities of numerous neoconservatives inside and out of the U.S. Government to plan an attack on Iran. Bamford focused on the role played by Michael Ledeen of the American Enterprise Institute and National Review, who created and began implementing an attack scheme in coordination with the Pentagon's then number-three official, Doug Feith, and Feith's deputy, Larry Franklin (subsequently convicted of felonies for passing classified information to AIPAC).

So Bamford's claim was "embarrassing" because "anyone even vaguely familiar with Michael's work knows that he has opposed military action against Iran." Got that?

Ledeen himself wrote at The Corner that "I would insist that my soldiers have the right of 'hot pursuit' into Iran and Syria, and I would order my armed forces to attack the terrorist training camps in those countries."

If evangelical Christians are hesitant to support Ron Paul's candidacy for the Republican nomination for President, two reasons are usually proffered: he does not support Israel, and he wants to bring the troops home from Iraq.

Unfortunately, many (if not most) of today's evangelical Christians have bought into the whole neocon warmongering mentality. Somewhere along the way, evangelicals have forgotten the historic Christian understanding of "just war," not to mention our Savior's promise of divine blessing upon peacemakers. In August, Bush announced, "I have authorized our military commanders in Iraq to confront Teheran's murderous activities."

Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh revealed last month that Cheney has instructed the Joint Chiefs of Staff to draw up plans for attacking Iran.

Last January 11, a missile launched from China's Xichang Space Center destroyed a satellite 537 miles above the Earth's surface. Although the target was a weather satellite belonging to China itself (shot down ostensibly because it was obsolete), the act clearly rattled the U.S. space establishment.

Precisely six years earlier, on Jan. 11, 2001, the Commission to Assess United States National Security Space Management and Organization issued a report to Congress. Liberals, put it behind you. George W. Bush and Dick Cheney shouldn't be treated like criminals who deserve punishment. They should be treated like psychotics who need treatment.

Because they've clearly gone mad. Exhibit A: We're in the middle of a disastrous war in Iraq, the military and political situation in Afghanistan is steadily worsening, and the administration's interrogation and detention tactics have inflamed anti-Americanism and fueled extremist movements around the globe. Sane people, confronting such a situation, do their best to tamp down tensions, rebuild shattered alliances, find common ground with hostile parties and give our military a little breathing space. But crazy people? They look around and decide it's a great time to start another war.

Search engine marketer and blogger Rand Fishkin agrees that the pagerank shift was likely meant to send a message to link buyers and sellers.
