The app has much of the functionality that a regular VoIP app like Skype has. TringMe’s app lets users set up caller-id, send SMS messages from Facebook, lets callers leave voicemails that the users can access and lets you add TringMe widgets to your profile that let friends and visitors call or SMS you from that page, which seems to be the most appealing feature of the app.

Typical dubai lies... I live here and this is the kind of news that makes people think this is an incredible and advanced society... when in actual fact it's just a cover... All these projects are gimmicks and are poorly constructed... plus people here have no freedoms at all... hell even the telecom monopoly sends spyware to it's blackberry users, not to mention blocking VOIP so that they can milk money from international calls... it's a disgrace and people are now leaving after the economic crisis (which hit here HARD - so much that the CITY needed a bailout). So much for utopia. Honestly though it's 110 degrees in here anyway so I don't see how this place could ever be a utopia...
