While supporters of the regime led chants of "death to America," crowds nearby shouted "death to the dictator," a veiled reference to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his political ally, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

And via this video report, CNN adds the protestors had a direct message for America's president too: "You're Either With Us or With Them"

Meanwhile, somewhere on another planet, a pointy-eared man with a peculiar name had this to say about the takeover by Iranian militants of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran: "This event helped set the United States and Iran on a path of sustained suspicion, mistrust and confrontation," he said in his statement.

Tags: ahmadinejad, ayatollah ali khamenei, challenge hard line administration, iranian protesters, street demonstrations

<clipSource>http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2009/11/iranian-protesters-to-obama-youre.html</clipSource>

Brutal and repressive regime: our ally Uzbekistan

clipped by: beanz
clipper's remarks: It shows Western criticism of Iran to be the load of crap that it is.

Clip Source: www.rferl.org

Uzbekistan: Interview With Former British Ambassador Craig Murray

While ambassador to Tashkent, he spoke publicly about repression and the lack of democratic freedoms in Uzbekistan. Visitor medical insurance for visiting USA and Canada is very important. In the America's (USA and Canada), health care is not cheap and small ailments can result in large medical expenses. Serious medical problems can be catastrophic without visitor health insurance. Visitor medical Insurance is required when you have parents and family visiting the United States (Inbound to US). Overseas visitor's insurance is popular with immigrant communities in the United States such as from India, China, Russia, Europe, Mexico and South America.

Tags: visitor medical insurance, visitors health insurance usa, travel insurance usa, new immigrant insurance

<clipSource>http://www.americanvisitorinsurance.com/</clipSource>

The coat of arms of Switzerland is protected by American law? WASHINGTON DC - President Obama on Friday announced the end of a 22-year ban on travel to the United States by dead people, fulfilling a promise he made to necrophilia advocates and acting to eliminate a restriction he said was "rooted in fear rather than fact."

More of an interesting article:

"No one seems to be saying this out loud -- yet -- but let's put it bluntly: less than a year into the 15-year span of Global Trends 2025, the days of America's unquestioned global dominance have come to an end. It may take a decade or two (or three) before historians will be able to look back and say with assurance, "That was the moment when the United States ceased to be the planet's preeminent power and was forced to behave like another major player in a world of many competing great powers." The indications of this great transition, however, are there for those who care to look."

Clip Source: www.alternet.org

Okay, now for the serious version of the above: In November 2008, the National Intelligence Council (NIC), an affiliate of the Central Intelligence Agency, issued the latest in a series of futuristic publications intended to guide the incoming Obama administration. Peering into its analytic crystal ball in a report entitled Global Trends 2025, it predicted that America's global preeminence would gradually disappear over the next 15 years -- in conjunction with the rise of new global powerhouses, especially China and India. The report examined many facets of the future strategic environment, but its most startling, and news-making, finding concerned the projected long-term erosion of American dominance and the emergence of new global competitors. "Although the United States is likely to remain the single most powerful actor [in 2025]," it stated definitively, the country's "relative strength -- even in the military realm -- will decline and U.S. leverage will become more constrained."

<clipSource>http://www.alternet.org/story/143514/6_signs_that_the_american_empire_is_coming_to_an_early_end</clipSource>

The Secret Shadow Government

clipped by: kareval
clipper's remarks: Just as with the official government, the secret government has functional branches. Just as with the official government, the Shadow Government has functional branches. However, unlike the official government, the purpose of the non-executive branches of the Shadow Government is simply to distribute various functions, but not to achieve a system of checks and balances, as was supposed to happen constitutionally between the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the U. S. Government. That is because the Shadow Government is a creature of a powerful elite, who need not fear being dominated by an instrument of their own creation.

Clip Source: bulletins.myspace.com

The Secret Shadow Government

Richard J. I’ve only taken a glance at the document the meeting is about, but I can certainly see why many people would be concerned. It does seem as if a world government is being set up.

Clip Source: uncoverthenews.com

Copenhagen, Carbon Emissions and World Government

I was contacted earlier by some readers of my articles and asked for my view on the events scheduled to take place in December in Copenhagen. This was something I had only recently heard about and therefore had little knowledge of. I quickly discovered a speech on climate change given by Lord Monckton which he ends by giving a stern warning to Americans that the United States will lose its national sovereignty should Mr. Obama sign this treaty in Copenhagen in December. It seems there are some who fear such an occurrence. They truly worry that Mr. Obama will turn our country over to a world government. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we lost our national sovereignty long ago. If Mr. Obama were to sign a treaty creating a world government that would supersede the government of the United States it would be doing nothing except finally bringing out in the open what’s been happening under the table for decades.

<clipSource>http://uncoverthenews.com/2009/10/27/copenhagen-carbon-emissions-and-world-government/</clipSource>

US income inequality cramps opportunity:suckers

clipped by: beanz

Clip Source: yglesias.thinkprogress.org

Inequality Begets Inequality

Pete Davis mentions a new book that sounds interesting.
