This little village, YELAPA, nestled in the Bay of Banderas on Mexico's west coast is a treasure waiting rediscovery. I had the good fortune finding this gem by chance. After one week was ready to pack up and relocate. This is not a place for those seeking creature conforts (they can also be found) rather, this is where you go to be a part of the community or just to RELAX. Electricity only arrived a couple of years ago, no automobiles to be found. All transportation is by foot, horse, mule or boat. No street lights, no streets. Flashlights needed. This is where you go to contemplate the possibilities, to reevaluate, to find that inner child and let her/him go free. The locals are warm, friendly, open, reseptive to ALL only asking that you in turn respect and enjoy this haven. Isabel is a remarkable woman and reason alone to visit Yelapa.

Man unearths box filled with Depression-era cash

Dan Deming had heard the rumors about the buried treasure on his central Wisconsin farm.

At first he made some halfhearted attempts to find it, and then searched in earnest for two or three years after receiving a metal detector for his birthday.

The mystery ended recently while Deming was tearing down a 100-year-old shed on his property. A rusted box tumbled from the rubble and wads of currency dating back to the Depression spilled on the ground.

When he first saw the bills, he thought they were play money. Then he saw the words "silver certificate" across the top of a $1 bill and realized it was real. He also noticed the bills were dated between 1928 and 1934.

(AP) -- Spain formally laid claim Thursday to a shipwreck that yielded a $500 million treasure, saying it has proof the vessel was Spanish.

Officials demanded the return of the booty recovered last year by a U.S. deep-sea exploration firm, saying the 19th-century shipwreck at the heart of the dispute is the Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes - a Spanish warship sunk by the British navy southwest of Portugal in 1804 with more than 200 people on board.

Tampa, Fla.-based Odyssey Marine Exploration on Thursday disputed Spain's claim. In May 2007, Odyssey announced that it had discovered a wreck in the Atlantic - and its cargo of 500,000 silver coins and other artifacts worth an estimated $500 million.

Spain argues that the entire treasure should be returned because naval vessels remain the property of the nation that flagged them, regardless of where they lie, under the principle of sovereign immunity.

The Iraq war has turned into a "major debacle," a former Pentagon official writes in a report published by the National Defense University in Washington.

"Measured in blood and treasure, the war in Iraq has achieved the status of a major war and a major debacle," Joseph Collins writes at the beginning of his 60-page article.

Collins, a retired Army colonel, served as a senior DoD official under Paul Wolfowitz and Donald Rumsfeld.

Among the conclusions he reaches in Choosing War: The Decision to Invade Iraq and Its Aftermath:

To date, the war in Iraq is a classic case of failure to adopt and adapt prudent courses of action that balance ends, ways, and means

Globally, U.S. standing among friends and allies has fallen. Our status as a moral leader has been damaged by the war

At the same time, operations in Iraq have had a negative impact on all other efforts in the war on terror

The central finding of this study is that U.S. efforts in Iraq were hobbled by a set of faulty assumptions

"You have to find out what they treasure," says Jerry Acuff, coauthor of The Relationship Edge in Business (Wiley, 2004). The key to doing that is being patient and being curious. "I have to invest the time in finding where success lies for the people I work with," says Amy Errett, CEO of Olivia, an upscale vacation provider. "How can I set up that success for them? If you listen to people, they're pretty well going to tell you what they need." Errett books a lot of entertainers to perform on cruise ships and at resorts. She has the sometimes unenviable task of determining what's going to make her singers and dancers happy. Pioneering cancer researcher Robert Weinberg says that deadly secondary tumors happen when cancer cells don't act their age

Thirty years ago, cancer was a black box. Researchers knew what went wrong in the body, but not how or why. The work of Robert Weinberg, professor of biology at MIT and a founding member of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, has helped researchers open that box. Weinberg discovered the first cancer-causing gene and the first tumor-suppressing gene in the early 1980s. Since then, hundreds of such genes have been discovered, and this "treasure trove," as Weinberg calls it, has led to many new drugs. Weinberg is also helping make sense of a vast amount of complex genetic information by finding global regulators of processes common to all cancers

Underwater caves in sheltered bays could house a wealth of untapped pre-European archaeological treasures, say Australian researchers.

"About 6000 years ago, the coast of Sydney was probably about 20-30 kilometres off shore," says Coroneos. "As the sea levels rose people retreated inland."

He says this means that there is probably a lot of evidence of Aboriginal occupation that is now under water.

"We've basically found caves under water," says Coroneos. "If they were dry, up on land, we would consider an excavation of these areas as being prospective rock shelters."

researchers now hope to get permission from the local Aboriginal landowners to collect sediment cores from the caves in the hope of finding stone tools.

Submerged coastal archaeological sites are being excavated around the world.

These include parts of the ancient city of Alexandria in Egypt and submerged Neolithic villages in Israel, Denmark and the US, says Corneos, who has worked on such sites in the Mediterranean.

Ruhter, 13, of Butler, Mo., said she would name her find the "Pathfinder Diamond" after pulling what she described as a broken pyramid from the ground.

We were walking through the path and I just walked and saw this little shine,

"It's a nice diamond," he said. "It looked like it had been broken off at one side."

"I was kind of praying to God. I was saying, 'I don't care if it's worth whatever it's worth, I don't care if it's a tiny little sliver of something, I just want something,'" Ruhter said. "Ten minutes later, I just found it."

Crackdown's hidden and agility orbs are an addictive little treasure hunt for gamers. We posted up a guide for finding the hidden orbs, and now we're bringing you a top down map showing off all the agility orbs, courtesy of Achieve360Points. Sure, while the dots on the map don't exactly tell you what height the orb is at, the top left corner has some vital info for orb hunters. It tells you how many orbs are on each gang's territory. 212 for Los Muertos , 155 for the Volk, 128 for Shai-Gen, and the remaining 5 can be found at The Keep.

Combine that information with IGN's guide, which only has 498 Orbs pictured, or completely photographed lists for both types, but plagued with duplicate pictures, and you have a shot at finding the last ones you're missing. So, how many orbs, agility or hidden, do you have yet to obtain?
