This native of Mexico forms extremely vigorous annual vines which can grow up to
20-25 ft tall. They are covered in large bell shaped flowers
that sit in a green saucerlike calyx. Blooms are at first greenish,
then they mature to velvety blue or lavender.
Very showy and very easy to grow. Packet is 30 large seeds.

<clipSource>http://www.swallowtailgardenseeds.com/vines/cup_and_saucer_vine.html</clipSource>

Black Belt Ninja Monkey

clipped by: cakebelly

Clip Source: mysterytopia.com

Yachan, the black belt ninja monkey

Yachan may just look like a monkey in a costume, but this little grasshopper is an ape Zen master
He's a Kung Fu champ, or chimp, who's risen to the level of black belt
He can break wooden panels with his fists of furry and has enough mad skills to defeat Bruce Lee. His Sensei doesn't stand a chance in hell
Yachan has a strict martial arts regime, which includes push-ups and sit-ups, to help him unleash the dragon at the slightest provocation
But it's work hard, play hard for this simian samurai. Yachan always finds ways to relax, such as playing the drums or kicking back with a tall frosty one after a hard day's chop-socking

He sometimes dresses up as a gorilla to entertain his Dojo companions, but don't let his playfulness fool you: this primate is always ready to kick butt! I was a little skeptical, so I put it through the paces with some hard uphill pedaling and sprints, even once in the rain. The belt performed flawlessly through it all.

The Strida attracted more attention than any other bike I have ridden.

Though it wasn’t bad for short rides, the fit for me was not ideal. I am 6’ 2” tall, and I feel like I was right at the upper limit of rider height that the bike could reasonably accommodate. The bike is sold a “one size fits all”, but it definitely fit my wife, who is about 5’ 7”, better than it fit me.

it would be a great choice for a lot of people. With police cars wailing behind him, a 10-year-old boy sped and swerved at up to 90km/h along a Norwegian highway on Friday morning before he was finally forced to a halt, police said.

"A 10-year-old boy drove a car for about 20km along the highway at up to 90km/h," Birgit Monsaas, the duty officer at the Soer-Troendelag regional police force in central Norway, said.

"We had to put in patrol cars in front and in back of him, but he didn't want to stop. In the end we had to force him off the road," she said.

Miraculously no one was injured as the boy, hardly tall enough to peak over the steering wheel, zig-zagged and swerved uncontrollably along the busy highway towards the town of Trondheim, several times veering over into the opposite lane, according to media reports.

"The car he was driving was slightly damaged though," Monsaas said.

Police would not comment on how the boy had gained access to the car.

<clipSource>http://www.mg.co.za/article/2008-09-27-norway-cops-in-car-pursuit-of-speeding-10yearold</clipSource>

15 Epic Water and Ice Formations and Phenomena

clipped by: infopunk

Clip Source: webecoist.com

We all know that the Earth’s surface is covered mostly in water and ice, but what is truly astonishing is how many forms this amazing life-giving element can take. From stunning glaciers and roaring waterfalls as high as a skyscraper to jagged mountainside beds of icy spikes as tall as a man, the myriad beautiful water formations and phenomena found on our planet rival the aesthetic power of human art. Here are 15 ice, glaciers, fjords, waterfalls, unusual lakes, and other stunning examples of nature’s finest water and ice art.

<hr size="2" color="#666666" One
of nature's most recognized wonders, the venus flytrap's ability to
snatch living prey makes it a favorite of elementary school science
classes everywhere. Yet the flytrap is falsely ferocious: It's hardly
the man-eating Audrey Jr. from "The Little Shop of Horrors," but a tiny
plant only a few inches tall with leaves no bigger than a thumbprint.

popularity, the people who could protect it seem focused on other

The flytrap's natural habitat exists only within a
hundred miles of the Carolinas' coast, where much larger and more

development along the coast threatens to overrun the few sensitive and
thin populations of venus flytraps that still exist in the wild.
