Also, I'd like to be very clear, since I've seen occasional posts on forums that seem confused on these points: 1) Grandfathered or not, you need not pay Bonanzle a dime unless you sell your items and 2) When you do sell your items, our prices beat the competitions' in most cases. So like, don't freak, man.

P.S. Google promises they will try to have our Google Base feed working again by tomorrow. It has been down for a day or three, for reasons almost as mysterious to me as they are to you.

In the next week or two, we have our sites set on at least three major additions to the site (browsing by booth, buying without pre-registering, and shipping with USPS). So even though we might not use the "beta" crutch anymore, we'll probably still be changing faster than many sites that are in beta.

With the number of stock photos already out there, there's no reason for sites to accept anything less than technically perfect. The focus has to be sharp. Blurring should generally be reserved only to demonstrate movement. Use can use higher film-speed settings and a wide aperture to allow you to shoot things that are moving quickly, but keep in mind these can also add grain or noise to a shot.

One problem is that content filtering software simply isn't good enough. Yes, software blocks many child porn sites, but it also allows some sites to get through. Also, child porn sites are typically very good at evading filters. Just as importantly, the software mandated for schools and public libraries doesn't just ban child porn, it bans thousands of sites. Does the software company investigate the thousands of sites it blocks? Does it know whether a child engaged in illicit activity on a Website is 16, 18, or 21 years old?
