The Snuggie is one of the most raved about tv products out there, so we at TvTopTen had to give it a try and see if it really is all that it claims to be. When we received the Snuggie, the first thing we thought was that it was sort of silly looking, however, once we tried it we realized that it was so unbelievably soft and comfortable.

When we compared it to a regular blanket, the Snuggie was much better at keeping you warm and it was much easier to be able to do things such as read a book or use a tv remote with the Snuggie as it did not hinder your arm movement. I

f you want to stay warm as well as still have the comfort to move around and do things, the Snuggie blanket is awesome!

Recently, a friend tipped us off to a new animal she wanted, a goofy-faced creature we, too, want IMMEDIATELY. The axolotl is a Mexican mole salamander (also called an ajolote) currently facing extinction in Mexico City, but not if we have anything to say about it.

Apparently kept as domestic pets in the U.S., Great Britain, Australia, and Japan (where they're called "wooper loopers," because DUH!), the axolotl is not only the cutest thing under water, but even provided the inspiration for Wooper, a member of the Pokemon collective or whatever.

More importantly, it SMILES. We want, we want, we want. YAY SCIENCE!

How can a world filled with secular humanists, atheists, and just plain God-haters be pondering the end of the world? They are embracing what is found in the mystical Mayan calendar that has the world ending on December 21, 2012. And has the media taken notice! But, even so, it seems an odd pitch to “American artists.” Rocco Landesman, Speaking Goof to Power, isn’t the first Obama groupie to enjoy the kinky frisson of groveling obsequiousness, but he’s set an impressive new standard in public revelation thereof.

The Senior Advisor seems to have forgotten that she is the power. Admittedly, this is a recurring lapse on the part of the administration. There was Barack Obama only the other day blaming everything on the president — no, no, silly, not him, the other fellow, the Designated Fall Guy who stepped down as head of state in January to accept the new constitutional position of Blame Czar. Musing on problems in Afghanistan, Obama blamed the “long years of drift” under his predecessor. The new president — okay, newish president — has been Drifter-in-Chief for almost a year but he’s too busy speaking truth to the former power to get on top of the situation.

Rocco Landesman, head honcho at the National Endowment for the Arts, seems closer to the reality of the situation. In his keynote address to the 2009 “Grantmakers in the Arts” Conference, Landesman hailed Obama as “the most powerful writer since Julius Caesar.”

It’s a weird Tom Friedman dream sequence:

Could we actually read such a news article in three years? I wouldn’t bet on it.

Well, I would. I have no doubt that, should Iraq continue on its path to stability and prosperity, Obama will seek and be granted credit for it.

That's just stupid... dangerously stupid. The exact same technology and techniques that are protecting your children from diseases like polio and whooping cough are in those 'flu vaccines. It isn't anything new or dangerous, so get over your paranoia already... especially since the government is offering the shots for free!

So leave your paranoia and conspiracy theories at home, and protect the people you care about. Get the inoculations, and stop being silly.

Am I the only one that thinks this is ridiculous?

I want to show you how I’ve learned to make my heart and mind get along.

Because unfortunately…

It’s typical in our society to feel a conflict between what we want to do (our heart) and what we feel is practical (our mind).

We end up living 1/3 of our lives in a cubicle for the “benefits.” We stay friends with people we only kind of like. We do and say things to fit in and seem cool that really go against what we feel is right in our hearts.

Because it’s caused so much heartache in my life, I’ve spend a lot of time trying to diagnose the source of this problem.

Is my heart at fault? Are my feelings just silly and frivolous? Or maybe it’s my mind that’s to blame. It seems like it’s always coming up with conflicting messages anyway.
