Gait may be associated with orgasmic ability

A new study found that trained sexologists could infer a woman's history of vaginal orgasm by observing the way she walks. The study is published in the September 2008 issue of The Journal of Sexual Medicine, the official journal of the International Society for Sexual Medicine and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health.

The results showed that the appropriately trained sexologists were able to correctly infer vaginal orgasm through watching the way the women walked over 80 percent of the time. Further analysis revealed that the sum of stride length and vertebral rotation was greater for the vaginally orgasmic women. "This could reflect the free, unblocked energetic flow from the legs through the pelvis to the spine," the authors note.

The study provides some support for assumptions of a link between muscle blocks and sexual function, according to the authors.

The reason you have men going nuts over the site of breasts is because we (the USA) market market them for profit. By making it illegal just makes matters worse.. If it were legal like in Europe men would stop starring at breasts the way they do because they would be used to seeing them.. Now mind you if that were to happen it would also burn lots of women that use them for power in many situations too.. But I think all in all it would be a positive thing. And yes, I nude sunbathe so I see them all the time and no its not a sexual thing -- as I said you just get used to them like anything else!

After a hiatus this summer Page to Screen, PW's roundup of news about books being sold (or about to be sold) in Hollywood, is back. This week an erotic thriller fetches a hefty sum and a YA heavy grabs studio attention.

On the sales front, Roberta Brown, of Brown Literary Agency, has sold film rights to a 2009-slated erotic thriller by Jo Davis called When Alex Was Bad. Producer Cathy Schulman, whose credits include Paul Haggis' Best Picture-winner Crash and the indie Thumbsucker, optioned the book for high six figures; IPG's Joel Gotler was the co-agent. The book, which NAL is publishing, follows a wife who, in an attempt to save her marriage, allows her husband to live out a series of sexual fantasies with other women. A murder plot ensues.

A Gateshead art gallery which exhibited a statue of Jesus Christ in a state of sexual arousal is facing court charged with outraging public decency.

The artwork was part of an exhibition at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art which featured dozens of plaster figures - also including Mickey Mouse and ET - in a similar pose.

Lawyers for Emily Mapfuwa, a 40-year-old Christian who was offended

by the artwork, will prosecute the gallery for outraging public decency and causing harassment, alarm and distress to the public.

The statue was part of Baltic's September 2007 to January 2008 exhibition by controversial Japanese artist Terence Koh "Gone, Yet Still".

Signs warning of the exhibition's content were posted at the entrance to the gallery.

A spokesman for the Christian Legal Centre, which is supporting the prosecution, said Mrs Mapfuwa believes in freedom of expression, but said "this statue served no other purpose than to offend Christians and to denigrate Christ".

Obama will spend the rest of his life wondering why he rejected the obvious road to victory, that is, choosing Hillary Clinton as his vice presidential nominee. However reluctantly, Clinton would have had to accept. McCain's choice of vice presidential candidate made obvious after the fact what the party professionals felt in their fingertips at the stadium extravaganza yesterday: rejecting Clinton in favor of the colorless, unpopular, tangle-tongued Washington perennial Joe Biden was a statement of weakness. McCain's selection was a statement of strength. America's voters will forgive many things in a politician, including sexual misconduct, but they will not forgive weakness.

First of all, we need to be the kind of people who recognize that a family's personal drama is their own and only our business when it directly affects us. Would you care if someone who lives one street over from you has a 17-year-old daughter who is pregnant? Especially if that situation did not require any intervention from the government? I would hope not. It isn't your business or anyone else's to judge a person based on the actions of their adult child. The same is true for Sarah Palin and her family. It is not our business as Americans to delve into the life of her child if her child is not doing anything that could compromise our interests. If she were found to be spying for another country we would have every right to want to dissect her life and everything that led her to that action. The consensual sexual life of a candidate's daughter, however, has no place in the national debate over which candidate is the best pick for governance.

To be sure, it's moments like these that make it difficult not to take some delight, not to sit back and feel the ironic righteousness melt over us like hot Cheez-Whiz over an Alaskan mooseburger. After all, Sarah Palin is anti-choice, pro-abstinence, anti sex-ed, religiously fundamentalist, a creationist, about as friendly to feminism and women's reproductive rights as John McCain is to his beloved "gooks."

But here's the saddest part of all: Governor Palin knew. She absolutely had to realize that her daughter's unfortunate condition would come to light when McCain offered her this bizarre gig. The US is said to have one of the worst annual rates of teenage pregnancies in the developed world.

Put differently, America is estimated to have some 750,000 teenage pregnancies a year.

According to America's leading health agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): "About one-third of girls in the United States get pregnant before age 20."

The US offers government funding for health education programmes that promote sexual abstinence until marriage, although US lawmakers were investigating earlier this year whether to cut the funding.

Opponents of abstinence education say the approach ignores the fact that teenagers are sexually active and fails to give them accurate medical information or advice on safer sex.

Governor Palin herself has said she opposes funding sexual-education programmes in Alaska and has supported abstinence programmes in schools.

The ombudsman against discrimination due to sexual orientation (HomO) is taking the case of a lesbian couple from northern Sweden who claim they don’t have equal access to artificial insemination procedures.

The two women are seeking 50,000 kronor ($7,700) in compensation from the Västerbotten County Council for treating them differently than childless heterosexual couples when it comes to facilitating artificial insemination.
