Clasically trained, socially aware, the currently Rome-based painter/sculptor weds social problem with anti-violence in his works.

Clip Source: www.tomasconcepcion.com

A Maranaw royalty, Concepcion was born in Marawi City, in the Island of Mindanao, Philippines. At 17, he left for the

Concepcion later moved to Montreal, Canada to further his studies at the Ecole des Beaux Arts while at the same time serving as Art Director for Morgan’s Department Store and designing sets for Trinity Theater.
Fascinated by ancient history, Tomas travelled to Europe to tour museums. He was eventually lured to Italy where he attended l'Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome. The videos go on to show how we can visualize imaginary numbers geometrically, how fractal patterns emerge in the Mandelbrot set and Julia sets, and how beautiful and complex shapes can be built up from circles.

Clip Source: www.sciencenews.org

Mathematicians create videos that help in visualizing four-dimensional objects

Three dimensions can be so limiting.

There is the minor difficulty that our nervous systems are only equipped to conjure images in three dimensions. But that doesn’t stop Étienne Ghys of the École Normale Supérieure in Lyon, France, from visualizing the four-dimensional dynamical systems he studies: “I live in dimension four,” he says.

And you can too. Ghys has now created a series of videos teaching others to visualize four dimensions the way he does.

in four dimensions, there are six regular solids, including one with 600 faces! questions about what to back up, where to back it up, etc. It records
these answers in some configuration files and sets up automatic backups

just

The boy whined a bit—"It wasn't fair"—and Soetoro said little. Now, 24 hours later, the stepfather appeared with two sets of boxing gloves, one for himself and one for Obama.
Appears to be one of the largest yard management project s using RFID to date. Interesting that RFID is only one part of the solution - putting GPS, RFID and handset apps on one platform is pretty novel. GS-1 had a pilot but it took 5 companies with different sets of software to achieve end to end supply chain.
