Installation

Download Semantic Scuttle form Sourceforge.net, at the moment the latest version is 0.89
Extract the Zip-File and upload the files to your web-server
Import the file “tables.sql” to your database. With phpMyAdmin this is quite simpel.
Rename the file “config.inc.php.example” to “config.inc.php” and open it with your favorite editor. This file contains all basic information about your system

Birthers Demand Proof of Non-Kenyan Status

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) - Just moments after she broke with fellow Republicans and voted in favor of health care reform, Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) came under fire from the GOP for allegedly lying about her nation of birth.

"This vote is going to raise suspicions, once again, that Sen. Snowe was born in Kenya," said GOP Chairman Michael Steele. "We demand that she prove, once and for all, that she is definitely not Kenyan."

Orly Taitz, leader of the so-called "birther" movement, said that Sen. Snowe's vote was "textbook Kenyan" behavior: "She's putting her tribe first."

In other news, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said he would acquire the St. Louis Rams and rename their stadium The House of Painkillers.

Elsewhere, the Rev. Moon married 10,000 people, putting him slightly ahead of Liza Minnelli. More here.

MQ AMQ9516 error

The problem looks like it is to do with an occasional failure of the O/S to open or read the channel defintions file. You could dump all the channel definitions (MS02 perhaps), rename the AMQRFCDA.DAT to AMQRFCDA.BAD, run strmqm -c, and reload the saved defs. This will recreate the channel defs file in a new disk location, hopefully one which does not get these problems.

I was also receiving the AMQ9516 errors on the AMQCLCHL.TAB file when trying to alter a client channel.

I moved (renamed) the TAB file to AMQCLCHL.TAB.save then copied it back to AMQCLCHL.TAB.

But try Fast Flip on a mobile device, and it’s no longer so user-friendly — rather, you’d probably want to rename it “Slow Flip.”

Not to worry, because somebody else has come up with a better solution, and that would be Fluent Mobile, which launched late last year, and over this summer has soft-launched Fluent News, the first iPhone app that aggregates mobile-optimized news content from some three dozen major media brands into an “up-to-the-minute mobile newspaper.”

Fluent News is free and is currently the top-rated news app in the Apple Store.

Don't Americans Deserve a Health Care System as Good as the One In France?

A few years ago there was a great uproar from the Right Wing against France because its government opposed the War in Iraq. The Republican Congress went so far as to rename the "French Fries" in the Congressional cafeteria "freedom fries."

I think of myself as an internationalist, but my latent sense of nationalist competitiveness is indeed aroused by the fact that, per capita, France spends less than half of what we do on health care and yet the World Health Organization ranks their health care outcomes as number one in the world, and we are only 37th.

We spend $7,290 per person and end up in 37th place. They spend only $3,601 and they are number one. That's just not right.

On the average, Frenchmen live almost three years longer than the average American. That's infuriating.

The council received abusive letters after renaming the pudding

Council chiefs have reversed a decision to rename the pudding Spotted Dick after it received "abusive letters" and was accused of political correctness.

Canteen staff at Flintshire council had decided it would be referred to as "Spotted Richard" on their menu after "immature comments" by some customers.

The council now says the pudding will revert to its traditional name.

But it has warned customers who act in a "childish way" to behave themselves or they will be refused food.

Spotted Dick is a steamed suet pudding containing dried fruit, and is thought to have originated in the middle of the 19th Century.

The "spotted" part of the name refers to the currants, which resemble spots, and "Dick" is believed to derive from the word dough.

"Let common tradition and common sense prevail."

Facing accusations of racial insensitivity, the Dresden Zoo has been forced to rename a baby primate called ‘Obama,’ according to information obtained by The Local on Friday.

This spring the zoo in the eastern German city named a newborn mandrill “Obama” after freshly inaugurated US President Barack Obama. But an advocacy group for black Germans demanded that the primate be renamed this week, calling the zoo’s choice racist.

The baby mandrill, which belongs to a species closely related to the baboon, was born on March 23, Manuela Collmar, zookeeper at the zoo’s “Afrika Haus,” told The Local earlier this week. Each year the zoo names all newborn animals beginning with the same letter.

“This year they all begin with ‘O,’ and one of the zookeepers chose ‘Obama’ – it was meant to be positive and an honour in light of his visit to Dresden in June,” Collmar said

Ukena went on to apologise for any “irritation” the name had caused.
