"You have to spend at least a million dollars to buy an apartment in northern Tehran where the average property is 200 square metres," says real estate agent Ali Meshkini.

Facilities such as swimming pools, sauna, jacuzzi and health clubs have become a usual feature in newly-built upmarket homes in a bid to lure wealthier buyers.

An opulent residential tower in northern Tehran even comes with a heliport while another has an elevator to take cars up to the apartments.

"Property has become the only profitable investment," says Meshkini. "Prices have risen by over 100 percent within a year and they will continue to go up. No other sector makes such profit."

the straight numbers crunched by energy experts at the Dept. of Energy’s Energy Information Admin. — that says drilling in off-limits coastal areas will NOT affect gas prices. But apparently, we may be among the few outlets doing this.

The Center for Economic and Policy Research released an analysis today finding that the “myth that offshore drilling would lower gas prices” is getting a “boost from major media.”

The nonprofit research group has found that in a total of 267 TV news broadcasts to date, the EIA data was only cited one time. In 91 percent of those broadcasts, there were no opinions presented questioning whether offshore drilling would reduce energy prices.

“This is a clear case where the overwhelming majority of the media has not done its job, and the McCain campaign is benefiting as a result,” said Mark Weisbrot, co-author of the analysis and the center’s co-director, according to a press release.

If it were legal like in Europe men would stop starring at breasts the way they do because they would be used to seeing them.. Now mind you if that were to happen it would also burn lots of women that use them for power in many situations too.. But I think all in all it would be a positive thing. And yes, I nude sunbathe so I see them all the time and no its not a sexual thing -- as I said you just get used to them like anything else!

In a small pilot study of 20 families, the non-profit environmental group tested blood samples from mothers and their young children -- ages 18 months to four years -- for the presence of PBDEs, a hormone-disrupting chemical.

In 19 of the 20 families, concentrations of PBDEs were typically three times as high in children as in their mothers, said Sonya Lunder, the study's author. One child had six times the level of the chemical that was detected in her mother.

But there is debate among investors over whether early, promising results from studies in Russia will translate into effectiveness in larger clinical trials.

Pfizer will pay $225 up front and $500 million in bio-bucks. It will pay for 60% of development costs and get 60% of profits.

The most bullish profit forecasts for next quarter are for financial companies, estimates compiled by Bloomberg show. In the fourth quarter, brokerages and insurers will boost earnings almost fivefold from a year ago, analysts say.

Wall Street forecasters, who were too optimistic about earnings for the past four quarters, predict income at America's biggest companies will grow by a record 62 percent in the final three months of 2008, according to data compiled by S&P.

Shares in the S&P 500 have climbed to an average 25.8 times reported profits, the highest valuation in five years. The last time that happened, the index fell 38 percent.

I find it dirty that they have ignored the Constitution. I find it immoral that they tell us what we really need are some "moral values" issues to shroud their wickedness in Godliness; to keep what they are really up to out of sight and out of mind and out of the news at all costs. I find poverty offensive. I find injustice, racism, sexism, and homophobia offensive. But most of all I find the greed of empire offensive. Oh, F U D G E . . .

These brave souls have protected countless millions of believing Christians from the symptoms of hearing too many of these terrible words.

As a matter of fact they have done such a good job of protecting us there has never been a case of a single symptom worldwide. We don’t even know the symptoms. Would our ears bleed? Maybe they would fall off. Would we be stricken with profanity induced deafness? Or worse yet would it result in God eventually turning his back on us?

Anyway, thanks for keeping the body of Christ safe from the perils of profanity.
