Fix: Digitally blurring the area

A busy beach filled with people created a cluttered backdrop for this portrait taken just before a new member of the family was born. Erin Roe used Adobe Photoshop CS to blur the background area, making the subjects pop.

1. Use the Marquee tool to select the background. Erin chose only the top portion of the shot to make the blur feel more natural.
2. From the Select menu, choose Feather to soften the selection line. Go to the Filters menu and choose the Lens Blur filter to give the shot a realistic softened background.

          3. Select the middle portion of the background and repeat the steps using less blur to create a gradual softening so the background and foreground blend naturally.

<clipSource>http://www.scrapbooksetc.com/techniques/photography/fixingphotos_2.html</clipSource>

wefeelfine quote

clipped by: insanitys_place

Clip Source: www.memphismagazine.com

I returned to the gravesite by myself just before sundown to take more photographs, and I discovered that portion of Shelby Farms has a considerably different feel to it as it begins to grow dark.

<clipSource>http://www.memphismagazine.com/askvanceblog/?p=153</clipSource>

On increasing the size of the military

clipped by: deb2012
clipper's remarks: (DRAFT and no balanced budget)

Clip Source: www.cato-at-liberty.org

VIN View supports decoding of any vehicle identification number that was issued after 1978" and
"Operation is simple, enter the VIN number (17 characters, A thru Z and 0 thru 9) and click decode. On the decode page you'll see your VIN again and the position of each character, then on the bottom portion you'll see what position and characters map to what information. As more information becomes available, more details about the vehicle will be displayed (such as the model, engine size, options, etc), please be patient!"

<div border="2" Here's the story in their own words: "When viewing the terminal face of a glacier, typically you only see 10% of the glacier on the surface. Calving, a natural occurrence where the glacier loses ice from its' terminus, results in large free-floating chunks of ice. This particular ice had broken off from the glacier the evening before from underwater / lower portion of the glacier.

"Witnesses heard a cracking and a loud "boom," and then the ice surfaced. We understand ice this large breaks off from under the glacier approximately once a year and we were fortunate to be able to photograph it. The ice is a very deep blue as it is deprived of oxygen. Within 24 hours it will be white as the typical floating ice pieces."

<clipSource>http://uaddit.com/discussions/showthread.php?t=670</clipSource>

DEFINITIONS FOR SWU 291

clipped by: teddy hunt

Clip Source: www.aabcoinsurance.com

Medicaid
That's ridiculous...John McCain IS a senior citizen.

2.All McCain supports is creating government-managed accounts that would allow individuals to invest some portion of their Social Security payroll taxes in widely diversified stock or bond funds.

3. Actually, that's what America USED to be all about...FAMILIES taking care of their family members. But you can relax, because only those who WANT to invest would be subjected to this RADICAL plan. All seniors who want to keep what they have now, would still be allowed to do that.
