Buried in the 1500 pages of medical records released by the McCain Campaign is information that McCain attempted suicide twice, yet his campaign won't release his full mental health records to the public. This is a serious issue that the McCain Campaign hopes to skirt; his full mental health records after years of physical and psychological abuse by his North Vietnamese captors and whether McCain is currently receiving any psychiatric care or medications.

<clipSource>http://wizbangblue.com/2008/08/05/mccain-attempted-suicide-twice-but-wont-release-his-mental-health-records-during-this-campaign.php</clipSource>

Palin the popular??

clipped by: lp97702
clipper's remarks: More bad stuff on Palin... candidates: one for money, and one for a vote. That's it. That means
most of the campaign work is done by a few paid staffers. Not a very
participatory democracy.

The Obama campaign has brilliantly taken advantage of this by
actually asking people for help. They're letting a large number of
people do a small amount of work each.

So if you go to an Obama rally (or just sign up on his Web site),
you might be asked to call three voters in a swing state. Or if they
know you are a member of Digg
(the popular site that lets users vote on articles of interest),
Obama's people may ask you to Digg an article that is favorable to
Obama or critical of his opponent. Or they might ask you to put a
bumper sticker on your MySpace page.

In 2012, all major candidates will be leveraging their supporters more
effectively. But for now, Obama's campaign has the technology
advantage.

At least she blieves in the same things I do, especially about getting the military out of the worlds hair.
Her interview oes on:
This is the only party that even has social justice as its core principle. When we say ending the war, we mean all the wars. We need to get all the military out of every country, we need to begin to deal with issues of what peace can look like, how do you sustain that. Obviously, the green party is at the forefront of pushing the environment as a core value, that was innovative then. There should be an end to imprisoning young people, an immediate stop to the death penalty, a livable wage, not a minimum wage. Impeachment for George Bush and them is critical. I think if we don’t hold them accountable as a people, then anybody can do the same shit that they did.

Clip Source: www.greenpartywatch.org

By Some of All Parts, video to accompany their already popular song:

McKinney interview on Grist: ‘Leave the Oil in the Soil’

Clip Source: www.greenpartywatch.org

Cynthia McKinney gave an online interview with Kate Sheppard that appeared on environmental news website Grist.org today.

Great casual take-out

Few San Francisco locals have been to the Bernal Heights district. It is serviced by limited bus lines and located on the southern edge of Mission Valley. The Jasmine Tea House is nestled in this quaint, old-fashioned town. It serves everything from fried chicken wings, General Tsou's chicken and Hunan salmon to delicious teas and drinks. It is a popular place takeout place. And in-restaurant dining is a humble but tasty experience. The ambience isn't anything to write home about. But the reasonable prices and varied menu are impressive. Their vegetarian offerings like Kung Pao and sesame "chicken" are hailed as the best fake poultry in SF. If you're looking for some cheap but yummy food and not a stickler for presentation, check out the Jasmine Teahouse.
