At John McCain's town hall in Waukesha, Wis., Thursday, it was the other way around. "I'm mad, and I'm really mad," said one man who'd been called on to ask a question. "It's not the economy. It's the socialist taking over our country." McCain started to respond, and the man shot back sternly. "Let me finish please. When you have an Obama, Pelosi, and the rest of the hooligans up there gonna run this country, we've got to have our head examined. It's time that you two who are representing us, and we are mad."

<clipSource>http://www.slate.com/id/2201951/</clipSource>

We Are Sick of "reach across the aisle" to Socialist Democrats

clipped by: merrie
clipper's remarks: "We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. John McCain came face to face with everything that is troubling grassroots conservatives. We are tired and frustrated with big-spending, big-government programs. We are tired of the corruption in Washington by both parties. We are sick of efforts to "reach across the aisle" to work with socialist Democrats.

This man summed up our concerns perfectly... the socialists are taking over, and we need Sen. McCain to fight! Just look at what we are facing:

After the man in Wisconsin spoke, Sen. McCain said, "Well, I think I got the message." Did he? McCain went on to say how we need to all work together, blah, blah, blah. Working together with Democrats -- acting like Democrats -- is how we got into this mess! Wake up! Fight for conservative values! It's what the country wants and needs.

If I sound like I'm begging, I'm not the only one:

It's time to fight! If oil prices stay high, she pockets more money from energy stocks.

Clip Source: www.businesswomensblog.net

So effectively we see that Nancy Pelosi is in the pocket of alternative energy companies. It’s basically the same claim being made by Pelosi and other Democrats against Republicans. And it’s just as bad as what they say the result is with Republicans.

Speaker Pelosi has walled-off any discussion of domestic drilling for oil.

Effectively that means that Speaker Pelosi wants alternative energy to get more money to earn more money for herself. The higher the cost for oil, the better her alternative energy stocks will do. And the American public be damned.

Tags: pelosi, alternative energy, energy, oil, oil prices

<clipSource>http://www.businesswomensblog.net/2008/08/13/nancy-pelosi-at-the-dnc-strike-2/</clipSource>

Cindy Sheehan - now a candidate

clipped by: dl211
clipper's remarks: One saving grace - if the Republican loses, only one of these two idiots will hold office - thanks for small favors.

Clip Source: www.mercurynews.com

Cindy Sheehan, the "Peace Mom," now a candidate

Cindy Sheehan, demure in a black pleated skirt, rose-colored blouse and loafers, broke a mile-wide smile as she took the microphone. They assembled a vast array of subprime loan packages in their Golden West Financial and sold it to Wachovia Bank for $24 billion before the financial bottom fell out.

In the skit, a parody of a C-SPAN news conference replay, the Sandlers express puzzlement over why Pelosi invited them as victims because they're really delighted with their fortune and laughingly see Wachovia Bank as the victim. A graphic beneath the Sandlers says, "People who should be shot."]

I seldom ever watch SNL but came across this article on a skit - the video was pulled - edited and reposted - however it nows seems it was pulled again and is not available - guess people with power got their way.

Clip Source: latimesblogs.latimes.com

Edited SNL subprime video also happens to excise Barney Frank's involvement

Not every comedy sketch on "Saturday Night Live" has to do with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

But there's an unusual twist this week over another SNL skit. He did so, according to some who met with him on Capitol Hill, because he feared that if he opposed the bailout and it triggered a market collapse it could cost him the election. Better to placate the thieves on Wall Street than stand up for the masses of enraged and swindled citizens.

Clip Source: www.truthdig.com

Dennis Kucinich on the Democrats’ Bailout Betrayal

The passing of the $850-billion bailout pulled the plug on the New Deal. The Great Society is now gasping for air, mortally wounded, coughing up blood. It will not
recover. It was murdered by the Democratic Party.

We are on our own. And don’t expect any help from Barack Obama and Joe Biden, who lobbied hard for the bill and voted for it.
Ignore their rhetoric. Look coldly at the ballots they cast against us. We, as citizens, have only a handful of representatives left in
Washington, most of whom were left sputtering in rage and frustration on the House floor. The sad irony is that some of them were Republican.

He's also going to destroy investment with his tax increases and who can tell where the next huge failure will come from with that kind of uncertainty.

Better to sit on the sidelines and see what happens than try to guess exactly what the Democrats might destroy next.
<div border="2" style="margin-top: 10px;
