Nicholas Shapiro, a White House spokesman, declined to say when the practice began or how much the new contract would cost.

In a June 5, 2008, article in PC Magazine, Mr. Obama said, “The open information platforms of the 21st century can also tempt institutions to violate the privacy of citizens. We need sensible safeguards that protect privacy in this dynamic new world.”

The National Legal and Policy Center, a government ethics watchdog, said archiving the sites would have a “chilling effect” on Web site users who might wish to leave comments critical of the administration.

Ken Boehm, a lawyer and chairman of the center, also disputed that the presidential records law applies, because the comments
are pasted onto . . .
<div border="2" style="margin-top: 10px; Why, without the Leak Guard Core or Dry-Weave absorbency, I’d probably never go horseback riding or salsa dancing, and I’d certainly steer clear of running up and down the beach in tight, white shorts. But my favourite feature has to be your revolutionary Flexi-Wings. Kudos on being the only company smart enough to realize how crucial it is that maxi pads be aerodynamic. I can’t tell you how safe and secure I feel each month knowing there’s a little F-16 in my pants.

Sir, please inform your Accounting Department that, effective immediately, there will be an $8 drop in monthly profits, for I have chosen to take my maxi-pad business elsewhere. It follows the setting up of a Pagan Police Association to represent officers
who worship nature and believe in many gods.

Pc Andy Pardy, a leading Pagan officer from Hertfordshire Police, met with
Home Office officials this week to push for more recognition for pagan
 officers.

The neighbourhood beat manager, who has been an officer for the past seven
years, is a heathen which means he worships Norse gods, including the
hammer-wielding Thor, the one-eyed Odin and Freyr, the god of fertility.

Pc Pardy told Police Review magazine: "Paganism is not the new age, tree
hugging fad that some people think it is. It is not the clandestine,
horrible, evil thing that people think it is. A lot of people think it is
about dancing naked around a fire but the rituals are not like that.

I clipped this paragraph because it speaks to one of the reasons we created Amplify as a separate service from Clipmarks. We really didn't want to disturb the user experience or community on Clipmarks.com, but we wanted a way to better support Twitter and Facebook users as well as groups. We felt the best way to do this would be to create Amplify as a separate service from Clipmarks, but giving Clipmarks users the option to sync the two.

Clip Source: www.appscout.com

In a way, Amplify is what I had hoped Clipmarks would be: in addition to giving you an easy way to take entire clippings of the Web that you can return to and review later, the service allows you to share those interesting tidbits with the world. This way you give other people a way to interact with you, comment on your clippings, and see what you're reading on the Web that you think is interesting and worth sharing. Since Amplify allows you to hook into your Twitter or Facebook account, the service doesn't have to compete with those networks for attention and can compliment them instead.

Tags: amplify, appscout, pc magazine, review

<clipSource>http://www.appscout.com/2009/06/collect_blog_and_share_clips_o.php</clipSource>

Read it on a Kindle or it will read to you...

clipped by: Imnclady
clipper's remarks: Pretty amazing little gadget if you have a spare 359 dollars...

Clip Source: www.amazon.com

Kindle: Amazon's 6" Wireless Reading Device (Latest Generation)

Say Hello to Kindle

they have a keyboard testing utility that will allow you to find the scancodes for

Thanks to everyone here.. I hated the placement of the home key where a delete key should
have been. ) Also found at utility software for trading keys from PC magazine at:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,771064,00.asp
It worked quickly to swap the home and delete keys. ( I got the first utility because
I thought I was going to have to do it in the registry)
Anyways, this works quickly.

Antivirus2010 is now adding entries to users' HOSTS file, so that
if they try to navigate to CNET, Download.com, PC Magazine, or
