Well first thing I did was load up my copy of PSP X Studio. With my friend's PSP memory card I hooked up my USB cable from my PSP to my PC. I had the game that he wanted to borrow already ready to be copied from my PSP to the PC.

All I did then was copy the PSP game to my PC and then burned it back to my friend's PSP memory card.

My friend now had the game he wanted and it worked perfectly on his PSP without needing the UMD.

This is a good way to backup PSP games just in case the original game gets damaged or lost. If you want to do the same, PSP X Studio has all the instructions you need to copy PSP games. You can also copy all your DVD movies to your memory card using the software also, plus it comes with tons of features to maximize the power of your PSP like emulators, game saves, software applications and tons more.

New game gizmo uses mind control

An Australian company is gearing up to release a computer headset that allows people to control video games using only the power of their minds.

Featuring 16 sensors that measure electrical impulses from the brain, the headset - which plugs into the PC's USB port - will enable games to register facial expressions, emotions and even cognitive thoughts, allowing players to perform in-game actions just by visualising them.

The headset could also detect the players' emotions - whether they're bored, angry, engaged, happy, stressed, etc - and adjust difficulty levels, in-game music and the game environment accordingly.

GameStop is easily the king of specialty gaming retail in the US. With thousands of stores, a huge workforce, and the ability to push specific games via in-store promotions, it may not be well loved, but it is well traveled. The problem is that fewer and fewer PC games are being sold in stores, with the success of digital distribution platforms like Steam and the EA download service. Meanwhile, consoles are starting to catch up with Sony by offering full, big-name titles like Burnout: Paradise for sale online. Is GameStop scared of its business model, brick-and-mortar game stores, dying out? Not one bit. Whether that's hubris or the inability to change is an unanswered question.
