clipper's remarks: Would you defend the "morality" of Paris, Kim, or Carrie? Seriously. They can go about doing whatever they want, as long as it's legal, but I could never imagine rallying to defend them. But that's just me. Though I do have to wonder why people like Hannity and other so-called conservatives are so bent on defending Prejean, I haven't seen them defend Kim or Paris like this, quite the opposite for some. Which is why I ask, is it because she was on the "right side of gay"?

The hotel heiress' McMansion was broken into last December (by Rachel Lee and crew), and over $2 million in jewelry was lifted from Hilton's home!

Paris updated her Twitter on Saturday to tip her hat to the LAPD for finding and returning her valuable jewels:

"I want to say thank you to The LAPD, I am so happy and grateful that they caught the robbers from my burglary and returned my jewelry to me," writes P.

The L.A. District Attorney's Office has charged four more people with felony residential burglary and upped the number of counts 18-year-old Nicholas Prugo of Calabasas is facing to seven.

Fellow suspects Alexis Neiers, 18, Roy Lopez Jr., 27, and Courtney Leigh Ames, 18, are facing one count apiece, while Diana Tamayo, 19, is facing two

Per court documents, Lopez and Ames were allegedly in on the Paris Hilton break-in, Neiers supposedly particpated in the Orlando Bloom heist, and Tamayo is on the hook for the Lindsay Lohan and Ashley Tisdale burglaries. Prugo allegedly took part in all (except Tisdale), plus burglarized the homes of Rachel Bilson, Megan Fox and Audrina Patridge.

Amid all the bluster in Washington over big issues like the stimulus package, healthcare and the basic fate of our teetering economy, sometimes Congress decides to tackle something a bit, uh… smaller. Something that has annoyed us all for years but just seemed like an inevitable price to pay for living in modern society—kind of like lines at the DMV, jury duty and Twitter updates from Paris Hilton. What is this horrible albatross hanging around society’s collective neck? Loud commercials. That’s right. Loud friggin’ commercials.

There’s no doubt that loud commercials are annoying.

Believe it or not, there are already some regs on this… but the smarty pants on Madison Avenue have figured out ways around them over the years

While Congress can’t seem to decide what to do about healthcare or the deficit, Eshoo’s bill sailed out of the subcommittee on a voice vote.

In the end, Eshoo’s bill tells us that populism knows no real limits. Next up: A bill to outlaw paper cuts.

Why Paris Hilton Was Good for ‘Supernatural’

There were a lot of haters in the Supernatural fan community surrounding creator Eric Kripke’s decision to cast Paris Hilton as a special guest star in last night’s episode. I guess those fans forgot that the phrase “In Kripke We Trust” exists for a reason, so this morning, those haters are all eating crow.

The truth is that Paris Hilton was fantastic on Supernatural. She didn’t stay for the whole episode, just the end, but when she arrived, she provided plenty of laughs, action and social commentary. It was better than I ever could’ve imagined.

Many fans who were disappointed by Paris showing up on Supernatural only wanted to see a bloody and gruesome death scene, a way of living out some cathartic fantasy. Well, they got their wish.
