The reason you have men going nuts over the site of breasts is because we (the USA) market market them for profit. By making it illegal just makes matters worse.. If it were legal like in Europe men would stop starring at breasts the way they do because they would be used to seeing them.. Now mind you if that were to happen it would also burn lots of women that use them for power in many situations too.. But I think all in all it would be a positive thing. And yes, I nude sunbathe so I see them all the time and no its not a sexual thing -- as I said you just get used to them like anything else!

A photograph of a nude six-year-old girl on the cover of a high-brow Australian art magazine today sparked an uproar after Prime Minister Kevin Rudd called it disgusting, infuriating liberal art critics.

This month's taxpayer-funded Art Monthly Australia magazine placed the photograph of the young dark-haired girl on the cover, sitting and with one nipple showing, to protest censorship of a recent photo exhibition featuring similarly naked children.

"I can't stand this stuff," said Rudd, a staunch Christian whose centre-left Labor government won a sweeping victory over conservatives last year, in part on a vow to reinvigorate Australia's small but influential arts community.

BETTMERALP, Switzerland - Hundreds of naked people formed a "living sculpture" on Switzerland's Aletsch glacier Saturday, hoping to raise awareness about climate change.

The photo shoot by Spencer Tunick, the New York artist famous for his pictures of nude gatherings in public settings worldwide, was designed to draw attention to the effects of global warming on Switzerland's shrinking glaciers.

"The melting of the glaciers is an indisputable sign of global climate change," said the environmental group Greenpeace, which co-organized the event.

It said most Swiss glaciers will disappear by 2080 if global warming continues at its current pace.

The event, which followed Tunick's previous shoots in London, Mexico City and Amsterdam, was designed to minimize any impact on the environment, Greenpeace said.

Temperatures during the shoot hovered around 50 degrees.

More Ass, Less Gas

The World Naked Bike Ride wants to make a point that there are many things more offensive than a bare bum. The indecent exposure is not to some guy's twig n' berries, but to our polluted environment.

On Saturday, Toronto was among 70 cities around the world that took a spin au naturel as a celebration of cycling, a protest against car culture, a comment on pollution, or just to express some exhibitionist tendencies.

And in case you're wondering about the legality of being nude in public, the police were there as escorts, and as long as the participants were wearing something (shoes, for example), they weren't technically nude.

With Ontario's legalized toplessness, an official nude beach and naturist organizations like TNT!MEN (NSFW), Torontonians seem to be growing into our birthday suits, if only for a few short summer months each year.

Nude protesters square up

WHAT does a bull race in Spain and three naked women have in common with Centre Square in Middlesbrough?

A lot of Teesside men didn’t know but they still stopped to admire three protesters who stood in the square wearing plastic horns and little else.

The women were from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and were protesting about the famous Running Of The Bull event in the Spanish town of Pamplona.

The PETA members are going to 14 towns across the UK to recruit people who will join their protest against Pamplona’s bull race and the lethal bull fights which follow it every year.

The Pamplona event happens on July 5 and PETA members will stage their own “Running Of the Nudes” this year to highlight the animal cruelty issue.

They staged a similar event last year which attracted 1,000 people.

One of the girls, Lucia Barber, 22, from London, said: “We have done a lot of cities and there have been some great reactions.

NEW YORK, March 30 A New York hotel has canceled the Holy Week exhibit of a 6-foot tall nude chocolate Jesus, following a burst of protest.

Cosimo Cavallaro announced the display of his creation, titled "My Sweet Lord," this week. By Friday evening, the Lab Gallery at the Roger Smith Hotel had changed its mind, the New York Daily News reported. The gallery's creative director, Matt Semler, responded by resigning.

Catholics outraged by chocolate Jesus

NEW YORK -- A controversial artist outraged New York City Catholics yesterday with plans to display a nude 6-foot chocolate Jesus during Holy Week.

Cosimo Cavallaro's anatomically correct candy Christ, titled "My Sweet Lord," was made from almost 200 pounds of dark chocolate. The sculpture is to be displayed in a street-level window at the Roger Smith Hotel's Lab Gallery starting Monday.

Mr. Cavallaro had an answer: "The whole thing of putting on the loincloth, I find it ridiculous," he said. "There's nothing to hide. There's nothing shameful about this."

"If it makes them feel better, I'll ask for their forgiveness and do 10 Hail Marys, but they should just lighten up and be more accepting of people," Mr. Cavallaro said.

Three Men Protest Brazil's Game Against Ghana In The Nude

MADRID (Reuters) - Hundreds of nude cyclists pedaled around Spanish cities on Saturday to protest against car-clogged streets and demand greater respect for pollution-free transport.

With slogans like "one car less" and "bio methanol" painted on their backs, the naked cyclists staged Spain's third annual Ciclonudista or "Nudecycle" in Madrid, Barcelona and Pamplona.

The protest was part of world-wide naked bike riding events on Saturday across Europe, North America and South America.

"We feel naked when up against traffic because people don't see the bicycle as just another means of transport," said Madrid cyclist Ramon Linaza, wearing only a cycle helmet and shoes.

Towing cardboard cars with gaping jaws, protesters said the rapid rise of automobile ownership in Spain was turning city streets into ever more hostile and dangerous cycling territory.

Organizers said the bicycle was a healthy and efficient form of urban transport that is largely ignored by Spanish drivers and city planners.

Central Madrid has few bike paths and cyclists are a rarity on its streets. Barcelona has the most bike paths of any Spanish city, according to cycling activists.

Per capita car ownership has rocketed in Spain after a decade of strong economic growth.

BJP demands Husain's arrest

Terming M F Hussain's alleged depiction of Hindu deities in the nude as an "insult to the nation", the BJP Wednesday demanded the painter be immediately arrested and prosecuted for creating "disaffection" among communities.

"Being a good Muslim. Husain should refrain from repeatedly hurting the sentiments of Hindus," BJP General Secretary Vinay Katiyar told PTI over phone from Ayodhya.

Accusing the artist of insulting the Hindus and the nation by allegedly portraying deities and Bharat Mata in the nude, Katiyar demanded the painter be immediately arrested and prosecuted.

"He has created disaffection among religious communities and therefore should be put behind bar and prosecuted," the former Bajrang Dal chief said. "Otherwise, we will be forced to protest in our own way," he added. Hussain Tuesday apologised for his controversial depiction of Bharat Mata after angry protests by Hindu organisations.

The painting has been withdrawn from an auction that was to be held in Delhi Wednesday.
