Orlando shooter, US army Fort Hood shooter both linked to psychiatric drugs

He reportedly opened fire at the Fort Hood army base without any particular reason or motivation. In fact, as a psychiatrist, he had counseled many other soldiers on how to cope with the consequences of extreme violence (losing limbs, mental anguish, etc.).

As an army psychiatrist, he was also allowed to prescribe powerful psychiatric drugs to both his patients and himself. Many psychiatrists self-medicate, and Hasan was extremely anxious about the possibility of being sent overseas by the army, according to statements from family members (Reuters, below). Although official confirmation will probably never be made, it seems altogether likely that Hasan was treating himself with powerful psychotropic medications.

<clipSource>http://www.naturalnews.com/027425_drugs_drugs_violence.html</clipSource>

Former UK Ambassador: CIA Sent People to be ‘Raped with Broken Bottles’

clipped by: thisnamecantbetaken
clipper's remarks: Murray alleged that in the late 1990s the Uzbek ambassador to the US met with then-Texas Governor George W. Bush to discuss a pipeline for the region, and out of that meeting came agreements that would see Texas-based Enron gain the rights to Uzbekistan's natural gas deposits, while oil company Unocal worked on developing the Trans-Afghanistan pipeline.

"The consultant who was organizing this for Unocal was a certain Mr. Karzai, who is now president of Afghanistan," Murray noted.

"There are designs of this pipeline, and if you look at the deployment of US forces in Afghanistan, as against other NATO country forces in Afghanistan, you'll see that undoubtedly the US forces are positioned to guard the pipeline route. Most dads differ to moms when it comes to parenting or they resort to authoritarian ideas of disciplinary roles. This has changes, fortunately, over the years and more fathers are taking a shared role in parenting. What else can we do to help dads get involved? How can parenting experts encourage dads to come to parenting classes? Fathers Gain Respect From Experts (and Mothers)

Because mothering is their realm, some women micromanage fathers and expect them to do things their way, said Marsha Kline Pruett, a professor at the Smith College School for Social Work at Smith College and a co-author of the new book “Partnership Parenting,” with her husband, the child psychiatrist Dr. Kyle Pruett (Da Capo Press).

Yet a mother’s support of the father turns out to be a critical factor in his involvement with their children, experts say — even when a couple is divorced.

Uninvolved fathers have long been accused of lacking motivation. But research shows that many societal obstacles conspire against them. Even as more fathers are changing diapers, dropping the children off at school and coaching soccer, they are often pushed aside in ways large and small.

Tags: dad, dads, fathers, parenting, parenting class, parenting education

<clipSource>http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/03/health/03dads.html?_r=1#</clipSource>

Educational Toys For Toddlers

clipped by: mhaworth

Clip Source: educationaltoysforyourkids.com

Having kids can be a real challenge sometimes. As a result this teaches them a bad habit because when toddlers watch television instead of playing with toys, it does not help with their imagination. Plus if you start them young enough, they will learn that television is something they are suppose to do everyday and not see it as a treat like it should be.

<clipSource>http://educationaltoysforyourkids.com/educational-toys-for-toddlers/</clipSource>

weight lose pills for you

clipped by: dodly
clipper's remarks: fat loss plans , fat loss pill , fast loss pill weight , diet loss patch weight , fat burn diet , burning diet fat , healthy body fat percentage , protein weight loss diet , exercise fitness diet , weight lose pills , lose weight pills , fat pills

Clip Source: fatloss-plans.blogspot.com

That was the motivation behind the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) ("Card Check"), a major Democrat initiative for 2009, and one on which the SEIU spent tens of millions of its members' money.

Since Card Check is in serious trouble with lawmakers, state-run health care would be a suitable alternative.

• The public option could force hospital and other health care workers into underfunded pensions, putting their retirements at risk

• The average union pension has resources to cover only 62% of what is owed to participants

• Less than one in every 160 union-represented workers is covered by a union pension with required assets

• The PBGC already supports upwards of 30,000 pension plans

• Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation (PBGC), the governmental pension insurer,

Clip Source: directorblue.blogspot.com

The SEIU spent $85 million on Barack Obama's campaign.

Among its biggest rewards would be millions of medical civil servants (and millions of new, dues-paying members).
Believe that present goals or activities are wrong for you.

Feelings/emotions about present activities are generally negative.

Don't have (or believe you don't have) the ability to do present activities or obtain
    future goals.

Satisfaction of achieving goals seems in distant future.

Present activities not seen as related to important goals.

Important goals conflict with present activities.

Extrinsic incentives are low.

Personal problems interfere with present activities.

If an individual does not like a program, "there's little chance they'll put fourth an effort to learn" (Kirkpatrick, 1996). An environment that is valued and an experience that is enjoyed leads to a learner that is willing and more receptive. A more willing and receptive learner is able to take in and retain more material.

<clipSource>http://ezproxy.gsu.edu:2638/ehost/detail?vid=12&hid=8&sid=c03783a1-2024-4a3e-838b-4f2d4d91250b%40sessionmgr104&bdata=JnNpdGU9ZWhvc3QtbGl2ZQ%3d%3d</clipSource>

Inspirational Speaker

clipped by: adolphpaul123
clipper's remarks: Daniel R. Although Daniel was a talented, passionate and successful musician, his life in the fast lane was associated with a heavy appetite for drugs and self-destructive behavior. While under the influence, he had an accident which led to severe frostbite requiring amputation of a portion of all four limbs. Instead of wallowing in self-pity and giving up on life however, Daniel rose above all odds — excelling in music, sailing, horseback riding and most of all, positively influencing others through sharing his story. Daniel's greatest asset and passion is his ability to reach out to others and empower them to make positive choices in their lives.

Tags: inspirational speaker, adversity speaker, christian motivational speaker, corporate motivation, corporate motivator, corporate speaker

<clipSource>http://www.danielrdavison.org/</clipSource>

Success lies in motivation strategy

clipped by: stratesbm
clipper's remarks: It is electrifying to hear how the internet business earns you money.
