It seems Megan Fox is really busy acting on different movies. First she was preparing for her new role for the movie "Jennifers Body" and now she is set to play Mother Teresa in a movie called "Making Of A Saint".

The movie follows the incredible story of Agnes, a beautiful young Macedonian woman growing up in a world torn apart by war. After receiving a message from God, Agnes travels to a remote nunnery to learn the ways of the Lord but, once there, her passions are aroused by a handsome young priest. These new feelings challenge her faith and threaten to destroy everything that she holds dear.

This internal struggle leads Agnes to face the most difficult decision of her life. Will she give in to the urges consuming her or will she forsake all others to serve her God? The decision she makes would change the world forever.

Seems like an interesting movie to buy a ticket. But is this sexy woman a good actress or it's just because she is so damn hot? We'll see it soon.

But the downy babies grow into bum-fluffed teenagers and fill our homes with cheesy socks and atmospheres as tense as a dentist's waiting-room. Our finances dwindle and then vanish as we face up to the chilly reality of school and university fees.

Cuddle a baby, scented and sleepy fresh from the bath, and you feel you could die of joy. But catch a fractious toddler kicking the corner tin out of a stack of baked beans in the supermarket and you could kill from rage. That's parenting: a seesaw of emotions that can have you acting like Mother Teresa one moment, Pol Pot the next. And, like a runaway train, once you step aboard this ride, there's no getting off. Ever.

We try hard not to resent our childless friends, who, in comparison with us, breeze through their lives flashing more cash, getting more sleep and having more fun and freedom. "Marrakesh next weekend?" they murmur to each other. "Why not?"

I)n 1991 Cindy McCain was visiting Mother Teresa's orphanage in Bangladesh when a dying infant was thrust into her hands. The orphanage could not provide the medical care needed to save her life, so Mrs. McCain brought the child home to America with her.

Mrs. McCain replied that the child desperately needed surgery and years of rehabilitation. "I hope she can stay with us," she told her husband. Mr. McCain agreed. Today that child is their teenage daughter Bridget.

Others - how can I tactfully put this? - are simply ungenerous, if not discourteous, if not to me then to gay and lesbian people themselves. Wiccans? Judgements made about homosexuals based simply on feel-good factors? And holiness and charisms not visible? This kind of theological solipsism might lead one to suggest that Mother Teresa was simply pulling the wool over our eyes: perhaps we should re-dub her the "Old Bag of Calcutta".

Paris Hilton admitted to Vanity Fair that she often hears the clicking noises of cameras even when there are no photographers around.

Because she resembles Mother Teresa, Paris Hilton was placed on a short list to play the Nobel Peace Prize winner in a biopic by Indian film director T. Rajeevnath in 2006.

In 2007, Paris Hilton was hailed as a hero after “rescuing” a little person injured as part of an Oompa Loompa act in Miami. After an unruly crowd accidentally shoved performer Robin Sherwood into a metal stage support that sliced open his leg, Hilton screamed for help and held Sherwood’s hand until he was taken away by an ambulance.

Earlier this week, I witnessed women beaten with horse whips to keep them from entering a food distribution centre. Mother Teresa’s ‘Missionaries of Charity’ were distributing food to hundreds inside but the growing crowds beyond the gate were out of control, even for the locals trying to restrain their people.

In another town we found babies lying abandoned in pools of diarrhea, covered in flies, while metres away people literally fought for access to the single water source.

I experienced women, young and old, weeping for their children. One woman buried all five of her children herself because she had nothing to pay someone to do the work for her. She was too scared to tell the authorities of the situation out of fear she would somehow be blamed.

The experiences were truly heartbreaking. However the efforts of those attempting to address the challenges are inspiring.

'Expelled' nuns chain themselves to Vatican lamp post

Two elderly Italian nuns have chained themselves to a lamp post outside the Vatican, claiming they had been wrongly expelled from their cloistered convent and wanted Pope Benedict to help them return.

The two women, Sister Albina Locantore, 73 and Teresa Izzi, 79, remained in locks and chains on the edge of St Peter's Square for several hours, including the 20 minutes while the pope delivered his weekly message and blessing.

The two women told reporters they had left their convent of Carmelite nuns in central Italy for several months for health reasons but when they returned the mother superior refused to let them back in the cloistered convent.

The mother superior accused them of disobedience and banished them, the nuns said.

One of the nuns held up a placard reading "Your Holiness, we are neither prostitutes, nor violent, nor thieves, nor mentally infirm."

Another placard appealed to the pope to investigate their case.

I was aware of this story. What I did not know, and what I learned from Doris, is that there was a second infant Mrs. McCain brought back. She ended up being adopted by a young McCain aide and his wife.

When my colleagues hear that I teach first-year composition, they figure I must be a saint, a masochist, or a victim of blackmail. It's axiomatic in our trade that established academics do not voluntarily teach comp unless they have a Mother Teresa complex. Far from aspiring to sainthood, however, I teach the course largely for careerist reasons, seeing it as a source of research material for my books and articles. That may make me something of a special case. But you'd think that, in a profession in which so much rides on getting our writing published, it wouldn't be hard to convince anyone that teaching basic writing might sharpen our writing and thus help advance our careers.
