I tag my closing phone conversation with my daughter by telling her to drive safely. I put the phone down and see my wife standing, staring at me. "You sounded just like your mother,"- she says. "Well,"- I say, upset at being visualized in a skirt, "sometimes you sound just like your mother."- I feel a need to strike back in order to give myself some fighting room. A chance to think about things. My wife's comment isn't negative, it's an observation. I love my mother. I think she's a great woman. But I'd just as soon be me.

Parents are going to ludicrous lengths to take the bumps out of

Over the past few years, communications professionals have flocked
to the Web to better understand the interests and media important to
Millennials. While sites like MySpace and Facebook
garner a lot of our attention, niche social networks and online media
provide rich insight into a wide array of demographics. Mommies have
begun to form an important and quickly growing community online. Do a
simple Technorati blog search for "mom" and you'll find over 18,000 mommy blogs. According to USA Today,
these mommies spend over $1.7 trillion a year and now comprise about
52% of the online population. Here are a few recently launched sites

Here are a few recently launched sites
that will help you explore these mommy communities and understand why
they are as important for you to follow as their Millennial offspring:

Cafe Mom

Minti

The Mommy Blog

Urban Mamas

Urban Baby

Daily Candy Kids

Healthy Habits Healthy Kids

Post a comment below with links to your favorite mommy and parenting sites on the Web.

Tags: cafe mom, daily candy kids, healthy habits healthy kids, launch pr, mindy roberts, minti, public relations, schneider associates, social media

<clipSource>http://launchpr.typepad.com/schneiderassociates/2007/10/mommyspace.html</clipSource>

My Name Is Sarah - poem reclip

clipped by: skwirlinator

Clip Source: clipmarks.com

My Name Is Sarah

Clip Source: content3.clipmarks.com

Do you know where mommy’s vagina is? Why, it’s on the Internet of course! I am not knocking working mommies. After all, I am one. I am knocking drunk, slut mommies who should be home with their kids and not trying to recreate a career that has been dead longer than Jesus.
Moonbat mommies have convinced themselves that they can train babies from birth to signal when they need the bathroom, so that diapers are never required.

Once the signal is received, mothers need to act:

Isis Arnesen, 33, of Boston, has a 14-week-old daughter, Lucia, who is diaper-free.
