The cell, which included Britain's youngest ever terrorist, arrested on his way home from his GCSE chemistry exam, was found with information about the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh along with the Prince of Wales, the Duke of York, the Earl of Wessex and the Princess Royal.

A counter-terrorism source said: "They had details of explosives and poisons along with information about London landmarks and a computer folder on Royal residences. We would be foolish to rule out the fact that they may have been planning an attack."

He had also communicated regularly with three terrorists who ran websites for Al-Qaeda in Iraq from London and Kent.

Khan groomed Hammaad Munshi, then 15, the grandson of the head of a sharia court in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

Talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres will reportedly marry her longtime girlfriend Portia de Rossi in California this weekend.

The pair are reportedly planning a small, intimate ceremony with only a few close friends and family, according to Usmagazine.com.

Previous reports claimed the pair, who have been dating since December 2004, were planning a lavish wedding in Palm Springs, California.

DeGeneres recently said of De Rossi, "I feel like I found my perfect fit. She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her."

California lifted its ban on gay weddings in May.

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egyptian scientists are doing DNA tests on stillborn children found in the tomb of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun in the hope of identifying their mother and grandmother, who may be the powerful queen Nefertiti, Egypt's chief archaeologist said on Wednesday.

British archaeologist Howard Carter found the mummified fetuses when he discovered Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922. Archaeologists assume they are the children of the teenage pharaoh but their mother has not been identified.

Many scholars believe their mother to be Ankhesenamun, the boy king's only known wife. Ankhesenamun is the daughter of Nefertiti, renowned for her beauty.

"For the first time we will be able to identify the family of King Tut," Zahi Hawass, the head of Egypt's Supreme Council for Antiquities, told Reuters. "This should allow us for the first time to discover the mummy of Nefertiti."

Brian May's Thesis Published

Last July, at age 60, Queen guitarist Brian May earned his Ph.D. in astrophysics after having completed work that he began thirty years ago but abandoned to pursue his career as a rock legend.

His thesis, A Survey of Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud, has now been released as a 215-page volume from the publisher Springer. This is not an uncommon practice, but the author is a bit more high profile than the average graduate student.

Still, despite the fame with which May has already been met in his illustrious career, his own words about this publication show that, rock legend or not, he's just as giddy about it as any other graduate student.

The founder of the legendary rock band Queen has completed his doctoral thesis in astrophysics after taking a 30-year break to play some guitar.

Brian May's thesis examines the mysterious phenomenon known as Zodiacal light, a misty diffuse cone of light that appears in the western sky after sunset and in the eastern sky before sunrise.

Casual observers, if they live under very dark rural skies, can best see the light two to three hours before sunrise as they look east, and many people have been fooled into seeing it as the first sign of morning twilight.

A Persian astronomer who lived around the 12th century referred to it as "false dawn" in a poem.

Astronomers now know that Zodiacal light represents reflected sunlight shining on scattered space debris clustered most densely near the sun.

May's work focuses on an instrument that recorded 250 scans of morning and evening Zodiacal light between 1971 and 1972.
