Boston-born Jigme Wangchuk, 11, has now moved to India where he has been made the head of a Buddhist sect in the country's eastern Darjeeling city.

His parents say they discovered their son was not like other children two years ago when he started talking about his "past life". At first, they dismissed it as a childish fantasy, but began taking it seriously during a trip to a monastery in Mysore, southern India.At one point, he went into a trance in which he described a celebrated Buddhist monastery with a 35ft dragon on the roof.

Women fuming because they still see it as a man’s world can finally take it out on the Man himself. Or one of them, at least.

Digital Spy reports that Chinese gym coach Xiao Lin has launched a part-time career as a punching bag for stressed-out women.

Lin hails from Shenyang in northeast China’s Liaoning province and has not yet informed his family of his second job, according to the Liaoshen Evening Post.

“The first woman was about 25 years old. She paid for half an hour but soon got tired and spent the rest of her time just chatting to me,” Lin says. “The second customer also only lasted for a few minutes but they both looked much happier afterwards. It does people good to let off some steam.”

For anyone who’s interested, Lin reportedly charges 100 yuan (about $15) for a 30-minute bash-fest.

A United Airlines pilot was arrested on suspicion of being drunk on board a plane at Heathrow Airport on Monday, a Scotland Yard spokesman has said.

The plane's departure to Chicago was "imminent", with 124 passengers and 11 crew members on board, when the arrest took place, a Heathrow spokesman said.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "At 12.30pm on 9 November we attended a flight at Heathrow Airport and arrested a 51-year-old man.

Police are awaiting the outcome of further tests on the man.

"He was reported to police by United Airlines staff, said a BAA Heathrow spokesman.

A United Airlines spokeswoman said: "Safety is our highest priority and the pilot has been removed from service while we are cooperating with authorities and conducting a full investigation.

"United Airlines' alcohol policy is amongst the strictest in the industry and we have no tolerance for violation of this well-established policy."

Rick Sanchez quoted Rush Limbaugh on CNN and the quote was fabricated. The racially insensitive quote attributed to Limbaugh was made up on the internet and not uttered by Rush.

Sanchez has refused to apologize for using the quote in a hit job on Limbaugh designed to destroy Limbaugh’s bid for the St. Louis Rams.

Here is what is real.

Rick Sanchez ran over a man and left the guy for dead.

It was December 10, 1990. Sanchez was leaving a Miami Dolphins game when he ran over a man. Sanchez fled the scene for two hours.

Finally, Sanchez came back. Two hours after the incident, Sanchez was still drunk — well above the legal limit. But Sanchez was a well known Miami reporter with lots of friends on the police force. He was never charged with the hit and run. He just pled no contest to DUI.

The man Sanchez hit and ran away from? He died in 1995, paralyzed and in a nursing home.

A Chinese man has launched a secret sideline - by renting himself out as a punchbag for stressed women.

Xiao Lin, a gym coach in Shenyang, in northeast China's Liaoning province, has not told his family about his new venture.

He told the Liaoshen Evening Post: "It fits in well with my day job. I needed more sparring partners anyway.

"By being a punchbag for women, I can make some money and also practice my self-defence skills and work on my fitness at the same time."

Lin charges 100 yuan (nearly £9) for 30 minutes for his services and says he has already had two customers since launching his new business.

This is a video of Roomba Pac-Man in action. A few clarifications:

The red tape on the floor is simply so the user can visualize the map in the real world. The robots are unaware of the tape, and are rather constrained by a virtual boundary embedded in their programming.

The "dots" on the floor are pieces of paper the the Pac-Man Roomba must vacuum up to complete the map.

The ghosts actually autonomously search for Pac-Man, and when they get close enough to "sense" Pac-Man, chase him according to a set of probabalistic rules.

The human controller cannot force the Pac-Man to cross any boundaries, it will only allow inputs in valid directions.

LAND O' LAKES, FL -- A man searching for his dog was bitten by a gator when he reached underneath his car early Sunday morning, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife.

Spokesman Gary Morse said 38-year-old Joseph Cannistra was outside his Geddy Drive home about 12:30 am looking for his dog, when he thought he saw his pet lying underneath his car.

There was something underneath, but it wasn't his dog. Officials said a five foot alligator was waiting and when Cannistra reached underneath, it bit both of his hands.

He was taken to University Community Hospital, where he received stitches on both hands and was then released.

The alligator was injured during the incident and later captured.

More than the man, what we must remember is the plot itself.

For in the plot we find more than just a man, we find the idea of that man, the spirit of that man, and that is what we must never forget.

I don't remember much of the century's turn. I don't remember the market crash or the plague or any of the Trafalgar riots.

I've read about them since but I don't recall how any of them impacted my life except for the fear. They would hide it from me, like a secret between them.

But I could feel it.

Very clearly, I can remember that sound.

It must have seemed so easy to them. They offered such a simple deal; give up control and we will restore order.

Overnight, my life, my entire world was erased.

It was done so quickly and violently, so completely, that it began to seem that it had never even existed.

There were those who understood what was happening, who knew it was wrong but who kept silent.

And in the vacuum of that silence, order was imposed.

Sen Cons Joseph said that Lachlan did a fantastic job and things could have been a lot worse if he had not intervened.

VICTORIAN teenager Lachlan Edwards has been praised after he swam to the rescue of two people caught in a rip at Point Impossible Surf Beach in the state's southwest.

Lachlan, 15, had already rescued a man from about 70 metres offshore at about 7pm (AEDT) yesterday when two policemen on patrol noticed him struggling to support a woman in the water.

One of the policeman, Leading Senior Constable Justin Joseph, stripped to his underpants, ran into the water and swam out to Lachlan and the woman.

He approached the pair where he was told by Lachlan that he had already rescued one man and had then attempted to rescue the woman, but he was exhausted and was having difficulty getting back to shore.

The policeman reassured the youth and between them they managed to get the woman back to dry land.

The two officers were told that prior to their arrival, a Whittington man got caught in the rip and the woman swam out to help him back to shore.
