This is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson, "so-called Founder." Thomas Jefferson: "Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated." So-called Founder. John Adams, A Defense of the Constitutions of Governments of the United States of America, 1787: "The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the law of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence."

Clip Source: www.rushlimbaugh.com

Distribution of wealth? We've already done it. How many trillions have we transferred from workers to nonworkers in the war on poverty, in the Great Society, and all of LBJ's programs? We are redistributing wealth like crazy.

We're already redistributing wealth whether the Constitution addresses it or not. I don't know if he's read the Federalist Papers, because the Founders talked about this all over the place.

Here is Thomas Jefferson in a letter to Joseph Milligan, April 6th, 1816: "To take from one because it is thought that his own industry and that of his father’s has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association -- the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it." So, Mr. President, our Founders were brilliant. They didn't put redistribution of wealth in there 'cause they didn't believe in it!

Tags: 0bama "so-called founders", constitution, federalist papers, thomas jefferson, john adams, redistribution of wealth

<clipSource>http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_102309/content/01125107.guest.html</clipSource>

US founded as a Christian Nation

clipped by: kareval
clipper's remarks: Most of the fifty-five Founding Fathers who worked on the Constitution were members of orthodox Christian churches and many were even evangelical Christians. The first official act in the First Continental Congress was to open in Christian prayer, which ended in these words: "...the merits of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Savior. Amen". Sounds Christian to me.

Ben Franklin, at the Constitutional Convention, said: "...God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?"

John Adams stated so eloquently during this period of time that; "The general principles on which the fathers achieved Independence were ... the general principles of Christianity ... I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that the general principles of Christianity are as etemal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God."

more at source

Clip Source: www.afn.org

Recently, many authors have debated whether or not the United States of America was founded as a Christian nation. About White House 101: "The White House is the official residence of the President of the United States, recognized worldwide as a symbol of the prestige of the presidency. Built between 1792 and 1800, the sprawling 132-room mansion has been used as a home by every President since John Adams. The East Wing of the White House principally serves as offices for the First Lady and her staff. The First Family's quarters, located on the second and third floor of the historic White House, provide them with privacy and comfort away from the public spotlight. The West Wing is home to the President's office and those of his top staff. On the pages that follow, you can learn more about the President's office, the many state rooms, and the grounds and history of America's most famous home."
In 1960, Americans’ personal debt amounted to about 55 percent of national income.

Our current cultural politics are organized by the obsolete culture war, which has put liberals on one side and conservatives on the other. But the slide in economic morality afflicted Red and Blue America equally.

If there is to be a movement to restore economic values, it will have to cut across the current taxonomies. It is a violation of federal law to identify covert CIA agents. An ACLU spokesperson justified the outing of covert CIA agents by claiming that they had been involved in the "torture" of Guantanamo terrorist detainees that ACLU lawyers are representing.

The John Adams Project was featured on Tuesday night's O'Reilly Factor when an O'Reilly producer chased down one of the three lawyers involved in the John Adams Project and demanded answers about an operation that would seem, on the face of it, place the lives of covert CIA operatives at jeopardy. The lawyer in question was very defiant and angry at being questioned by a Fox News producer with the camera rolling.

Clip Source: www.youtube.com

Tags: aclu & "john adams project", nina ginsberg activist lawyer, violation of federal law, o'reillys producer

<clipSource>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN41meN-KU8</clipSource>

Letter to Nancy Pelosi, from Dennis Guthrie, Attorney

clipped by: willhelm
clipper's remarks: ...I find it interesting that you and your husband are multi-millionaires with much of your fortune being made as a result of your “public service”. You have controlled legislation that has enhanced your husband’s investments both on and off shore. At the same time you redistributed the wealth of others. Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of you, Harry Reid, and now our President. You ride around in a Gulfstream airplane at the tax payer’s expense while criticizing the presidents of companies who produced something for the economy. You add nothing to the economy of the United States; you only subtract therefrom.

I would like to suggest that you return to the city of fruitcakes and nuts and eat your husband’s canned tuna and pineapple produced by illegal immigrants and by workers who have been excluded from the protection that 90% of the legal workers in the United States have.

I await your defeat in the next election with glee.

Clip Source: www.littlegreenfootballs2.com

Dear Ms. Pelosi:

Fisher, Jr., Ph.D.

Mr. Black is right. We have been there before. Japan wrote the US off as it soared economically in the 1980s and 1990s. In “Work Without Managers” (1990), I recorded author Akio Morita’s remark from his book, “The Japan That Can Say, No!”(1989): “Americans look ahead 10 minutes, while Japanese look ahead 10 years.” By 1999, Japan was looking ahead to a crippling recession. So much for prophesy of gloom and doom.

America is an idea, and that idea releases the human spirit to fill its potential in some creative way, or not. Freedom and expression are universal needs and America will remain strong and great, and yes powerful as well as long as it is sanctuary for the expression of such needs. John Quincy Adams understood the American conscience.

Tags: china, sky_is_falling, sky_is_falling_not, usa

<clipSource>http://peripateticphilosopher.blogspot.com/2009/08/report-of-decline-of-united-states-is.html</clipSource>

Download Doubt Full movie (DVD,DivX,iPod,PDA - Legal)

clipped by: Edokopo
clipper's remarks: Download Doubt Full movie (DVD,DivX,iPod,PDA - Legal)

Clip Source: download-full-movie-direct-links.blogspot.com

Download Doubt Full movie (DVD,DivX,iPod,PDA - Legal)

John Patrick Shanley brings his Pulitzer Windfall and Tony Furnish winning dramatize to the strainer as a gripping report hither the hunt for repayment for actually, the forces of switch, and the caustic consequences of shutters lawfulness in an time defined around moralistic conviction.

Download Doubt Full movie (DVD,DivX,iPod,PDA - Legal)

Starring: Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, Viola Davis, John Costelloe

Director: John Patrick Shanley

Tags: download doubt full movie (dvd, divx, ipod, pda - legal)

<clipSource>http://download-full-movie-direct-links.blogspot.com/2009/08/download-doubt-full-movie.html</clipSource>
