The photographic evidence seemed so overwhelming that it was conclusion of the scientific team that Billy Meier's photographs are real.

An original copy of the Billy Meier Photograph taken March 26, 1981 is seen below. The photography has not been retouched or manipulated in any detectable way and the conclusion of the sciencific team is that it is authentic in every aspect. The craft measures approximately 48 feet in diameter and is 25 feet tall, it's composition is unknown and it is in no way is suspended by any device detectable. There is no pixel manipulation or overlay created by any artificial means

Lip-synching did not cut it for Perth fans who walked out on Britney Spears after only three songs at her first Australian concert at the Burswood Dome on Friday night.

Disappointed fans stormed out of the arena complaining they had parted with hundreds of dollars for their tickets to the circus-themed show.

One female fan outside the arena said it was cheap act.

"People are paying for it and have come here so she should sing," a fan told the Nine Network.

"It was just really bad," Kathy Wright, 32, told Perth's Sunday Times.

"She has not spoken. There is no interaction."

But others among the 17,000 who saw Spears felt differently.

"We're not here to see her sing. We want to see her dance," another fan said.

Burswood Entertainment Complex said record crowds turned out for the concert.

"From Burswood's perspective, the event was a huge success," a spokesman said.

Previous work has demonstrated the viability of applying offline analysis to interpret forearm electromyography (EMG) and classify finger gestures on a physical surface. We extend those results to bring us closer to using musclecomputer interfaces for always-available input in real-world applications. We leverage existing taxonomies of natural human grips to develop a gesture set covering interaction in free space even when hands are busy with other objects. We present a system that classifies these gestures in real-time and we introduce a bi-manual paradigm that enables use in interactive systems. We report experimental results demonstrating four-finger classification accuracies averaging 79% for pinching, 85% while holding a travel mug, and 88% when carrying a weighted bag. We further show generalizability across different arm postures and explore the tradeoffs of providing real-time visual feedback.

Unsurprisingly, there are various approaches to follower attraction and – for lack of a better word – follower removal. Some people, and I believe these are the people Twitter originally aimed to attract, just naturally meet people. Follow those whose tweets interest them and unfollow those whose tweets do not.

Another group of people are similar to the above, but they aim to gain as many followers as possible. I admit to belonging to this group, primarily because it gives me a much greater audience to this blog as well as significantly more opportunities for interaction and meeting people (it’s also so easy so why not do it?).

A third group aims to gain as many followers as possible since every follower is a potential buyer. If you have 50,000 followers, and you try and sell something, even if 0.1% on average buy, then it’s still 50 people – which is a lot if you compare it to other ad models (i.e. PPC).
