Republicans own their failures, I grew hopeful. When he talked about
watching his mother argue with insurance companies while she was in bed
dying of cancer, I felt his quiet, appropriate and protective rage. When he
looked straight into the camera and committed to fighting for equal pay for
equal work "because I want my daughters to have the exact same opportunities
as your sons," I believed him. And when he called John McCain out to have a
debate about who has "the temperament, and judgment, to serve as the next
Commander-in-Chief," I trusted him to be capable of holding his own in such
a debate. Through his demeanor, Barack Obama did what no other person,
including Bill or Hillary Clinton, could do for him: he proved he has what
it takes not just to inspire but to protect and defend all of our lives and

rights.

Tags: obama, speech, hillary

<clipSource>chrome://sage/content/feedsummary.html?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.huffingtonpost.com%2Fhuffingtonpost%2Fraw_feed</clipSource>

McCain advisor: Stop calling people un-insured

clipped by: masbury
clipper's remarks: Wants executive order requiring the Census Bureau to "cease and desist" from describing any American as uninsured. I kid you not. He says that since pretty much everyone ends up getting the medical care they need somehow or other, no one's really uninsured. If you read the whole post, you'll also see that Goodman is a little confused about how employer-provided health plans work in real life. This is also the same guy who recently said, commenting on health disparities between whites and nonwhites in the U.S., that "doctors just don’t control our over-eating, over-smoking, over-drinking, and shoot-outs in the hood." (http://snipr.com/3kuaa) Nice, dude. of the insurance planning process for your health insurance is
understanding what the deductable is, and when does it come into
                play.

Any
agent can change you to a higher deducable, which will lower your
cost, but I would have to ask is that the best thing for your
situation? Can you afford the deductable if you need to use that
part of the insurance? Do you happen to go to the doctor more
frequently, or have kids that do? These are just some of the questions
to think about when looking at what deductable to get.

I
