The most senior judge in England and Wales has said that aspects of Islamic sharia law could be used in the UK, provided they don't conflict with existing laws. I say that Islamic sharia law should not be used in the United Kingdom and the Prime Minister should do everything within his power to stop it being introduced.

Kissing Balance (Insanity #348)

I have to kiss in equal parts. If i spend x amount of time kissing one side of a woman's face, I then have to by some decree spend that amount of time equally on the other side. Its some cosmic fairness principal. It annoys me to only half-do the one side. Weird. I'm keeping up with the balance in my mind. Its OCD I swear. but since its an internal thing no one seems to notice or mind.

toilet sharks (Insanity #360)

i have a weird fear of sharks coming up the toilet, i know that this is virtually impossible but maybe just by chance it happens, im stuck and there is a shark in my toilet, scary.

When the two deaths in Iraq were announced late Sunday, something didn't sound right. It wasn't combat, there was no mention of a vehicle accident, and with two dead, it clearly wasn't a suicide. Now we know why:

A U.S. soldier was detained in Iraq after he allegedly opened fire on a superior and another unit member, killing them both, the U.S. Army said Wednesday.
The soldier was subdued by other troops, and medics tried unsuccessfully to save the wounded soldiers, said Maj. Gen. Anthony Cucolo, commanding general at Fort Stewart in southern Georgia, where the soldiers' unit is based.
An Army spokesman said the shooting happened Sunday in Tunnis, Iraq. The alleged shooter's name was not released.
The Army identified the slain soldiers as Staff Sgt. Darris J. Dawson, 24, and Sgt. Wesley R. Durbin, 26.

Asked about how members of the Beatles, one of the most popular bands in rock history, felt when the Israeli government scrapped their concert in 1965 on the grounds it could corrupt the nation's youth, McCartney said it was "a bit insulting, the thought we could corrupt the youth."

A leading Islamic extremist has labeled Paul McCartney the "enemy of every Muslim" for his planned participation in a concert celebrating Israel's 60th anniversary and is warning of a terrorist attack if the ex-Beatle doesn't cancel.

"Instead of supporting the people of Palestine in their suffering, McCartney is celebrating the atrocities of the occupiers. The one who is under occupation is supposed to be getting the help," the Muslim cleric said.

Bakri went on to warn the rock legend directly

"Thus Paul McCartney is the enemy of every Muslim. We have what we call 'sacrifice' operatives who will not stand by while he joins in a celebration of their oppression. If he values his life Mr. McCartney must not come to Israel. He will not be safe there.

I have some very serious reservations about some, but not all, of these accusations.

One, I absolutely agree with the over arching theme, which is the bullying and manipulative linguistic tactics used by many in the media, and Sean Hannity most definitely. He's probably the worst in the mainstream and personally, I really detest the guy for that. We can agree there is extreme manipulation here and these manipulations can be modeled by lingistics, NLP or otherwise.

However, the interpretation of the 666 as sorcery and the insertion of a 'magical war' I don't think is warranted by the evidence given, nor is the ok symbol argument convincing to imply such a reality. Sure, we can find dual meaning in communication, but's it more than just 'dual'. It's multilayered and potentially there are numerous interpretations of reality, all of which can used mutually shared language.

It's funny because although I plan to vote for Chuck Baldwin, I am almost sure that because of Sarah, John McCain is going to win.

All I was trying to say in my blog is that she's next in line, so we might as well pray for John to repent and get it right OR (I wrote "AND" stupidly) that he dies quickly.

What the left is dreading would make me rejoice.

I don't think that's outrageous.

Many (conservatives in general) seeing Sarah and John standing together have thought the same thought, although they are not stupid enough to put it on a public blog forum as I have.

Here's our new campaign slogan:

"Sarah -- one heartbeat away from the presidency!"
