as well as they should because of poor or inadequate small
business inventory software. The problem is basically one of
attitude, often caused by ignorance. It is self evident that a
small business is generally short of resources (it would hardly
be a small business if there were adequate resources) and it is
the ability to extract the maximum return from managing these
resources that is the hallmark of success. You simply need to
think of inventory as a major business investment that needs
constant attention and action.

<clipSource>http://smallbusinessinventorysoftware.org/</clipSource>

Health Insurance Model & The Honor System

clipped by: davboz
clipper's remarks: With the right personalities, I'm sure that there would be far more in common than not in this struggle to make the system of providing health care make sense and work for nearly everyone. I believe much of the opposition means well, deep down inside, and they would just as soon see all citizens provided with reasonable health care. For policymakers, as well as those who feel the need to understand, it is important to learn enough so as to balance a sense of empathy and caring with a knowledge that self-sufficiency and motivation are robbed and diminished every time we just submit to the government and let them say, "Come to papa." Of course, it's the intuitive part that lets one know that those are even factors important to investigate, I do believe.
My insight of the day is nothing more than a given basic regarding the concept of insurance. There seems to be a widely held delusion that health care costs are of certain values but that suddenly the buying of insurance coverage someho

Clip Source: worldnewspeakorder.blogspot.com

As someone crawling out of years of ignoring what goes on around me (or, I guess you could say, ignorance) I pretty much am forced to try to learn each new topic from the ground up. At least when it comes to technical matters. Now on the intuitive level, I think I even gain from a lack of certain preconceived perceptions. Things like body language, human behavior, and a fairly accurate B.S. detector. This health care thing is a multi-headed beast, on multiple layers and levels. (Not to mention the multi-headed beasts which are the personalities involved.) It is entangled with, and must involve, your sense of values toward your fellow man, and it requires thought surrounding fundamental American ideas. I think it is likely that much of the most strident resistance is rooted in a valid sense that those in power are not just seeking a progress that progresses the American way, but one that is Post-American Progressive as a brand.

<clipSource>http://worldnewspeakorder.blogspot.com/2009/11/insurance-model-and-honor-system.html</clipSource>

Baby Killers Threaten Church Tax Exemption

clipped by: ColoradoRight
clipper's remarks: and these are the people you want in charge of whether you live or die? If the private health insurance market disappears, so will its taxes.

To name just one example, Aetna’s recorded income tax expense on its financial statements for 2005-2008 (including state and local taxes) averaged roughly $900 million per year. Put the company’s health insurance segment out of business, and a large portion of those taxes would stop coming in, digging the country’s and various states’ debt holes that much deeper.

The establishment press has paid very little attention to fiscal 2009’s drop of 19.5% in receipts from economic activity, so I expect similar treatment of October’s continuation of the trend. It would appear that they don’t want any unsettling news getting in the way of the statist agenda.

Clip Source: www.bizzyblog.com

Cash Crunch, Press Silence: As ObamaCare Advances In Congress

Though it won’t be official until Tim Geithner’s crew releases its Monthly Treasury Statement next week, it’s virtually certain that the government’s collections will open the year in a deep hole compared to last year, and probably well behind what CBO expects.

Take a look at this compilation of key items from October’s final Daily Treasury Statement, compared to the actual results from October 2008 and 2007:

This downward spiral continues a trend that began in the summer of 2008, as the public and especially businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors began comprehending the horrid economic implications of a Barack Obama electoral victory

In the intervening year since the election, fear and uncertainty have spread to consumers in general, which of course has significantly suppressed economic activity and federal collections resulting from it.

Tags: economy, msm biz/other bias, msm biz/other ignorance, taxes & government

<clipSource>http://www.bizzyblog.com/2009/11/05/cash-crunch-as-obamacare-advances-in-congress-uncle-sams-collections-continue-their-steep-drop/</clipSource>

Symptom of Depression

clipped by: jenadd123

Clip Source: www.symptomofdepression.org

Sometimes, it can be convenient to ignore the symptoms of depression due to hectic schedules, shame and even pure ignorance. It is contemptible.

<clipSource>http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/</clipSource>

Beer, Hemp, & Placenta

clipped by: debbyski

Clip Source: www.latimes.com

When it comes to beauty products, sometimes ignorance is bliss. Snake venom, bird droppings, snail serum, cow dung and whale vomit are but a few of the industry's extreme and off-putting ingredients that one might be shocked to know can be slathered about your body.

But is there really any reason to go for such exotic treatments?

For instance, he says that conventional ingredients such as wheat or rice protein, combined with hydrating oils, are likely to perform as well as products such as bull semen or beer, but acknowledges, "Wheat protein certainly sounds boring when compared with these other more unusual, even taboo, options."

<clipSource>http://www.latimes.com/features/image/la-ig-weirdhair25-2009oct25,0,2327232.story</clipSource>

Surpised? But a new Pew survey shows that fewer and fewer Americans believe there is solid evidence the earth is warming.

Around the world Saturday, environmental activists touted the number “350” as a way to recognize the seriousness of global climate change.

It’s not a secret code.
