* Clutch play. We knew the Americans could win blowouts, and indeed most of the games were decided early. When the Redeem Team led Argentina by 20 points in the first quarter, you knew the outcome was not in doubt.

* Teamwork and talent. Nobody hogged the ball. Wade said winning the gold showed that NBA stars could play with that same level of teamwork. They unquestionably did. There's also a time for great individual players to call for the ball and carry their team to victory, as Bryant did to turn back Spain.

* Inspired picks. Chris Bosh was awfully scrawny to match up against European and South American teams. But he played brilliantly. I wasn't sure about Chris Paul at point guard either. Turns he's a world-class player.

* Coaching. The hardest thing to get great basketball players to do is play defense. Yet Coach Mike Krzyzewski got the team to do just

IF YOU WEREN'T overcome with excitement as the American basketball team won the gold medal at the Beijing Olympics, you should have been. The Americans played as spectacular a brand of basketball as the world has ever seen--and played it at breakneck speed. So the question now is: Who was better, the Dream Team of 1992 or the Redeem Team of 2008?

I'm going with the Redeemers. Yes, the Dream Team had Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Charles Barkley, and routed its opponents by an average of more than 40 points a game. At the time, the Dreamers were the best basketball team ever to take the court.

But there's one huge difference between 1992 and 2008. And it's this: The Redeem Team faced far tougher competition. The level of basketball played around the world has risen dramatically. There are very few patsies. The players are bigger, faster, and more athletic. They dunk like Americans.

Here are five things, in no particular order, that I loved about the Redeem Team:

You could always use good old fashioned HTML!

Right click on the buddy icon you want to use and select Copy Image Location (I'm using Firefox btw). Next you want to use the <img src> tag so you would type
<img src=paste image location here "width="24" height="24" > (the height and width qualifiers make it into a little icon) which would give you...

This is only good as long as someone is using the same buddy icon - each time someone changes their buddy icon it is allocated a new static address, i.e a new unique location, on the flickr server. If someone changes their buddy icon and you don't change the code it'll just revert to the grey box icon...

to fix that just re-copy the link and edit your comment. I'm not sure if the Greasemonkey script takes account of changing buddy icons.

Dale un nuevo aspecto a las carpetas de Windows, cambiando el icono estándar de las mismas por otro que te guste más o sea más representativo del contenido de cada directorio.

La operación es tan sencilla como seleccionar la carpeta cuyo icono quieres cambiar, hacer clic con el botón derecho y seleccionar la opción "Change Folder Icon" que encontrarás en el menú contextual.

Puedes realizar búsquedas de iconos en todo tipo de ficheros (EXE, DLL, LIB, etc) desde el propio programa y exportar los que más te gusten a formato ICO.

When I first began my study of magick, almost thirty years ago, I was fascinated and bewildered by the numerous, often conflicting, systems for cataloging entities. Every school of thought and every religion offered a pantheon of entities, avatars, teachers, and earthly representatives. There were catalogs filled with icons, pantheons crowded with gods and goddesses, angels organized in hierarchies more complex than government offices, and demons lined up behind their bigger, badder brethren. Even the most ostensibly monotheistic religions still had lists of saints, prophets, teachers, legendary characters, and further subdivisions of their One True, yet nonetheless divisible, God.

Make Your Desktop Icons Smaller or Larger with the Mouse Wheel

When you right-click on the Windows desktop, there’s an option to change the default size of desktop icons - you could either choose medium, large or the default "Classic" size.

Now if you are looking for something extra and don’t want to limit yourself to these three default sizes, try this trick:

Left-click anywhere on the desktop, hold the ‘Control’ key and move the scroll wheel on the mouse - the desktop icons will grow smaller or larger depending upon the direction of your scroll.

Uncheck the "Auto Arrange" option for some more interesting results. Now I use this on a Windows Vista desktop ~~but the trick should probably work on XP systems as well~~ (sorry, its a Vista specific feature).
