40+ Creatives were given the task of creating their own interpretation of a Cult, Classic or Obscure film poster from the past, whether it be a literal or abstract solution. The result is Now Showing, an Art exhibition paying homage to more than 70 years of film, through the form of Prints, One Off Screen Prints and Sculptures.

Which was your best holiday?

I went to the Amalfi Coast last year for the first time and it’s easily the best holiday I’ve had. I was there with my girlfriend and we stayed at the Hotel Santa Caterina. It has amazing views and great waiter service. At night you can look out at the moon glistening down on to the sea while you’re eating good food and drinking beautiful wine. I just loved the naturalness of the Amalfi Coast: it’s all rustic and has an old-fashioned kind of feel to it.

What do you need for a perfect holiday?

I like the sun to be there and maybe a golf course.

Which was your worst holiday?

When I was younger I went to Turkey with my girlfriend of the time and another couple and it was just rubbish. The rooms were bad, the hotel was bad - it was just bad.

The list features senior administrators such as Millwall's executive deputy chairman Heather Rabbatts; assistant chief executive of the Professional Footballers Association Bobby Barnes; and Jason Rockett of Sheffield United - the only black chief executive in professional football.

PFA chairman Chris Powell, who is also player-coach at Charlton, joins Ferdinand as the only other current player on the list.

Some unfamiliar names are also listed such as Chris Nathaniel, a young agent who has negotiated a seven-figure book deal for England's John Terry and works closely with Ferdinand, Micah Richards, Obafemi Martins and Ryan Babel.

The BBC is represented by Garth Crooks and sport radio editor Hepburn Harrison Graham.

The list has been supported by football's anti-racism campaign, Kick It Out.

Daniel Day-Lewis BAFTA Winner is unbeatable

Day-Lewis's triumph went some way toward cheering up both the Irish and British contingents. Born in London, the son of a poet laureate, he now lives in Wicklow and carries an Irish passport.

Recently, at least 41 Democratic Senators, joined by a howling mob including George Soros’ Media Matters, sought to silence Rush Limbaugh because of his reference to “phony” anti war soldiers. Limbaugh’s comments, taken in context, referred to Jesse Macbeth, a confessed and convicted phony, whose faked but graphic war crimes confessions received far wider media notice than his later confession. He had been discharged in boot camp after 40 days of service.

Macbeth follows a grand tradition of fake soldiers whose “war crimes” confessions have been used by the Left to slander the service of our troops. For example, Micah Ian Wright, author of the 2003 anti war best seller "You Back the Attack," was an Army Ranger and Combat veteran feted at USC’s Annenberg School and in media like the Washington Post until he was finally “outed” as a complete fake.

Community group to give Moyhu a stronger voice on local issues

MOYHU has its first community action group, following an overwhelming response to a public meeting held in the town Monday night.

More than 40 people packed into the Moyhu Hotel to form an interim committee of 12 and nominate local resident, Ian Muller, as chair.

It will be the aim of the group to provide stronger representation of Moyhu and, in particular, lobby for funding that could be used to improve the town.

Leading the campaign to form the Moyhu Action Group was Rural City of Wangaratta councillor and local resident, Neville Wright, who said the meeting this week attracted representatives from all organisations in and around Moyhu.

"I sincerely trust the group will go on to bigger and better things with Moyhu being one of the towns to be visited by council in September for a rural towns development meeting," he said.

clipper's remarks: If Michael Savage is upset with the Catholic church, he ought to be downright livid if the United Nations adopts a resolution calling for the worldwide decriminalization of homosexuality. And when he finds out the resolution was offered by a black gay Frenchman? Well he'll probably call for the bombing of the U.N. and for the U.S. to finally invade and occupy France. What will be interesting to see is where the Bush administration stands. After all, they flip-flopped on allowing gay human rights activists to have U.N. access. Post-election, where will the Bush administration come down on this? Where would their base want them to come down? Three guesses, and the first two don't count.

On November 17 the Paris-based International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) will launch a global campaign for a United Nations resolution declaring that homosexuality should no longer be considered a crime anywhere in the world.

The proposed U.N. resolution is the brainchild of IDAHO’s founder, Louis-Georges Tin, 32, a professor and author of a number of books (including the Dictionary of Homophobia) who is also a rising star of France’s emerging black movement for equality.

Tin will simultaneously release a list of hundreds of VIP endorsers of the proposed U.N. resolution, including a gaggle of Nobel Prize winners (among them, Bishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, Dario Fo of Italy, Elfriede Jelinek of Austria, and Amartya Sen of India); political leaders, including two former French prime ministers (Laurent Fabius and Michel Rocard); academics (such as Princeton University President Shirley Tilghman and world-famous sociologist Richard Sennett); entertainers (such as Academy Award-winning actress Meryl Streep, David Bowie, Edward Norton, Mike Nichols, Lily Tomlin, actor-playwright Wallace Shawn, humorist Bruce Vilanch, and Spanish actress Victoria Abril); and a host of renowned writers, including Doug Wright, Jon Robin Baitz, Salman Rushdie, Gore Vidal, Sir Tom Stoppard, Tony Kushner, Martin Amis, Ian McEwan, Russell Banks, Bernard-Henri Levy, John Berendt,

Lady Antonia Fraser, Christopher Hitchens, Michael Chambon, Peter Carey, and Edmund White.

Getting the U.N. to commit to universal decriminalization of homosexuality is destined to become the central objective of the international LGBT movement for the next decade. Tin spoke to The Advocate.

SAN CARLOS, California (AP) -- Like many Silicon Valley engineers, Martin Eberhard loves cars, especially fast ones. But the self-described "closet gearhead" didn't feel comfortable buying a hot rod that guzzled gas from the Middle East or some other troubled region.

Ian Wright, founder of Wrightspeed Inc., speeds along the highway in his electric sports car in California.

So three years ago, Eberhard and friend Marc Tarpenning launched Tesla Motors Inc. Their goal: to design a sports car that would go as fast as a Ferrari or Porsche, but run on electricity.

With about 80 employees, Tesla just raised $40 million from high-profile investors including Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin and PayPal co-founder Elon Musk. It plans to start selling its first model next year.

"I'm not the only person that would like to buy a car that's beautiful and fun to drive but also remain on the moral high ground," said Eberhard, 45, who sold his previous company, electronic book maker NuvoMedia, for $187 million to Gemstar/TV Guide International in 2000. "None of the energy that goes into an electric car comes from the Middle East."
