Tina Fey reprised her role as Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin during a Saturday Night Live spoof of Thursday's debate.

Rapper and actress Queen Latifah played the role of moderator Gwen Ifill of PBS while cast member Jason Sudeikis spoofed Palin's Democratic opponent Sen. Joe Biden.

This is Fey's third skit parroting Palin's gaffes. SNL opened this season with a spoof of Palin and Sen. Hillary Clinton giving a press conference denouncing sexism in the media.

Several weeks later, Fey mocked Palin's highly ridiculed interview with CBS' Katie Couric.

In the latest episode of Fey's comic crusade against Gov. Palin, Fey spoofed the governor's stance on same-sex marriage, climate change as the "end of days," and being a "maverick."

"But don't think I don't tolerate gay people, because I do, I tolerate them with all my heart," Fey said. "And I know quite a few, too, not personally, but I know of them."

Obama almost lost the primaries when Hillary Clinton discovered his elitism and turned herself into a beer-chugging Rosie the Riveter. The cultural arsenal is about all McCain has left against Obama, and Levin predicted the last weeks of the campaign could look like the last months of the primaries with McCain highlighting Obama's elitism. It's about character and presentation, Levin continued, and while Obama's mother may have been on food stamps, it was while she was a graduate student studying for a degree in anthropology. Gitlin came back hard, saying we should be embarrassed that we don't know more languages, and that there is a difference between being an elite, which Obama is and has earned by virtue of his intellect and accomplishments, and being an elitist, which he is not.

WASHINGTON — When Joe Biden tells voters he understands the threat posed by Afghan extremists, he dramatically illustrates one reason why: His helicopter was "forced down" on "the superhighway of terror." Actually, snow, not the enemy, persuaded the helicopter pilot to land and wait out a storm.

The Democratic vice presidential candidate has repeatedly left that part out, in an episode that Republicans hope will become an echo of Hillary Rodham Clinton's errant tale during the primaries of landing in Bosnia under sniper fire.

Biden has made a number of questionable statements recently that, viewed in isolation, might not amount to much. But this is a man whose first presidential campaign collapsed 20 years ago after he told a story about coal miners in his family that he lifted without credit from a British politician.

Obama appears to have numerous foreign contributors:

The FEC has compiled a separate database of potentially questionable overseas donations that contains more than 11,500 contributions totaling $33.8 million. More than 520 listed their “state” as “IR,” often an abbreviation for Iran. Another 63 listed it as “UK,” the United Kingdom.

More than 1,400 of the overseas entries clearly were U.S. diplomats or military personnel, who gave an APO address overseas. Their total contributions came to just $201,680.

But others came from places as far afield as Abu Dhabi, Addis Ababa, Beijing, Fallujah, Florence, Italy, and a wide selection of towns and cities in France.

Unlike McCain’s or Sen. Hillary Clinton’s online donation pages, the Obama site did not ask for proof of citizenship until just recently. Clinton’s presidential campaign required U.S. citizens living abroad to actually fax a copy of their passport before a donation would be accepted.

Barack Obama's campaign earlier this month sought to find a rape victim to appear in a campaign commercial, according to an e-mail obtained by Politico.

Kiersten Steward, director of public policy at the Family Violence Prevention Fund, served as a conduit between the campaign and victims and women's advocates.

The Obama campaign wouldn't detail the strategy behind finding an individual to discuss such a sensitive topic but did suggest the ad may be aimed at underscoring their candidate's support for abortion rights and ongoing effort to retain those women who backed Hillary Clinton in the primary.

Joe, you have a tough job this week. Aside from keeping your foot out of your mouth you have to go up against Sarah (the genius) Palin. You haven’t got a chance. Why? Because expectations are so low for her that the only thing that can happen is that you lose. You probably can’t “win” this debate. Here are a couple of ideas for you and your advisors:

During the lead-up you should emphasize that expectations are so low for her that you probably can only hold your own. That will paradoxically change the dynamic in your favor.

During the debate call her “Governor.” Anything else will be viewed as condescending.

Again, paradoxically, you do not want to look like you are as head and shoulders smarter than she is but you want to emphasize how smart she isn’t. I would start most sentences with “What Governor Palin fails to recognize is…..”

You really need to say, but only once, “Governor Palin, you are no Hillary Clinton.”

At one point in the interview, Clinton acknowledged that it was his wife, Hillary, who "told me to go help [Obama]." And while Bill Clinton criticized John McCain for representing a brand of politics that he disagreed with, he offered a far more adulatory take on the Arizona Republican's personality traits.

"Most people would have been broken by what he been through, or we would have been happy just to give him an atta boy and medal and let him wander through life," said Clinton. "I think his greatness is that he keeps trying to come back to service without ever asking people to cut him any slack or feel sorry for him or any of that stuff because he was a P.O.W."

Some Democrats who are growing wary with what they see as Bill Clinton's tepid support for Barack Obama weren't likely relieved by the former president's appearance this Sunday on Meet the Press.

Clinton offered some praise for the man hoping to fill his former chair in the Oval Office, but much of it was admiration for Obama's political acumen and not his character. "I know he saw and imagined the way this thing could develop this political year and this economic situation, in a way that has left him in a position of leadership he is now," Clinton said.

At one point, host Tom Brokaw asked, "Would you use the same words for [Obama] that you have used for Senator McCain, that you admire him and that you think he's a great man?"

Clinton seemed caught off-guard and responded, "Well, I don't -- look, I had my first conversation with him in my entire life in Harlem," a reference to a lunch the two had in mid-September.

In fact, the top four on this list are all Democratic Party Presidential wannabes. Christopher Dodd is number one on the list, followed by John Kerry, then Barack Obama, and then Hillary Clinton at number four.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac together back about one-half of the country's $12 trillion mortgage market. That's trillion. With a "T".

So start a new tally in your head. How many articles will you see tying even Christopher Dodd (who is Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee) to the collapse of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.....much less Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton?

The news was full of reports of Sarah Palin's alleged "gaffe" that showed that she "obviously doesn't know how Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac works".

Bill Clinton: I'd vote for Evo too

Bill Clinton, in a meeting in New York with Argentine President Nestor Kirchner and his wife, Sen. Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, says he can understand the allure of Bolivia's Evo Morales.

"If I were a Bolivian miner with kids and no job, I'd vote for Evo Morales too," Clinton told the couple, according to the daily Clarin.

The Kirchners are said to be great admirers of Clinton and his wife, Hillary. The Argentine first lady is the prohibitive favorite to succeed her husband in national elections next month. Inevitably, the question of the "first man" came up. Asked how he would handle the situation, Clinton responded, "I'm going to do what she orders me.''
