Remember the mayonnaise jar and two cups of coffee when things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 Hours in a day are not enough.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the liquid into the jar, effectively filling the empty

But listen to Anna Rodriguez and her neighbors who gather nightly on lawn chairs to unwind, and a change comes into focus that could shift the national political landscape in 2008 and beyond.

"This is the first election I ever actually looked at someone else other than the Republican candidate," said Rodriguez, 33, who is studying to be a teacher and is a fixture at the lawn chair hobnob here on Greely Court, a quiet cul-de-sac in a Pasco County subdivision called Wrencrest.

Worth billions of dollars, Donald Trump, you'd think, could afford enough hair spray to keep his golden comb-over intact. A gust of wind gave Trump's iconic 'do a shake-up while he was visiting his late mother's former residence on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland. Trump was there to propose a golf resort full of hotels, private houses and golf villas, but Aberdeenshire counselors refused his plans. Looks as if it was more than just a bad hair day for the real estate mogul.

Michigan man, 66, records two holes-in-one during the same round

GAYLORD, Mich. (AP) -- For somebody who'd been playing golf 50 years and never had a hole-in-one, Bob Hickey got the hang of it quickly. The 66-year-old Grayling man used a 7-iron to card his first-ever ace Thursday on the 167-yard 10th hole at Marsh Ridge in Gaylord. Then Hickey used an 8-iron to ace the 147-yard 17th hole.

According to a 2000 Golf Digest article cited by the Traverse City Record-Eagle, the odds of one player making two holes-in-one during the same round are 67 million to 1.

Hickey, who finished at 2-over-par 74, says he'd made two eagles but never came close to a hole-in-one before Thursday. The long-haul trucker says he thinks he benefited from "just pure luck."

ROLLING Stone Ronnie Wood has ditched his punishing regime of endless cocaine binges for the more sedate lifestyle of month-long drinking sessions with Russian barmaids.

Wood enjoys wandering round his local golf course at two o'clock in the morning
Friends of Wood are relieved that, at the age of 61, he is finally slowing down and devoting more of his time to vodka and teenage girls.

One source close to the superstar said: "Ronnie was a workaholic. He would spend up to three weeks without sleep, constantly looking for new holes to put cocaine into.

"His only respite would be the hourly break to drink absinthe and have dangerously acrobatic sex with nine of the women queuing outside the hotel."

The source added: "There's only so long you can keep that up before your body says, 'enough is enough - it's time to drink nothing but vodka and stick to one teenager at a time'."

Another close friend said: "For Ronnie this is a bit like taking up gardening or golf.

Golfzilla is golf game that is currently in development using Android. The game uses Google Maps satellite imagery of various golf courses in different countries. Golfzilla is expected to be available at the end of 2008 and should support a peer to peer competition mode using GTalk.

Golfzilla isn't that cool, but it lets you play golf on Google Maps with the option to select the country and the course. So instead of fancy 3D graphics, you are actually playing as if you were on the ground, but from a bird's eye view. The final release of Golfzilla is expected to be available at the end of 2008 and will support P2P battle mode using GTalk. That's pretty much in line with the expected launch of Android.
