Gay Pride Week in Shanghai included the essential “hot body” contest.

“BRING in the boys!” an announcer howled on a recent Saturday afternoon at Cotton’s, a bar in Shanghai.

The occasion was a daylong celebration with drag shows, Chinese opera performances, mock same-sex weddings — and, yes, a “hot body” contest — to help conclude Shanghai’s first Gay Pride Week. And as seven beefcakes, including two from New York and one from Indonesia, strutted onto an outdoor stage, a crowd of hundreds erupted in whoops and hollers before awarding the hottest body title to a strapping, six-foot-tall Shanghainese who went by the name Grant. He was wearing a pink “Beware Pickpockets and Loose Women” T-shirt, until he wasn’t.

The Delhi High Court issued a landmark ruling Thursday decriminalizing homosexuality, a move that could bring more freedom to millions of people in this deeply conservative nation.

The ruling said that treating relations between consenting adult homosexuals as a crime is a violation of basic human rights safeguarded under the Indian Constitution.

For many homosexuals, the immediate effect on their personal lives will not be dramatic. There's still a strong social stigma here against gays and lesbians, with young people often pressured to marry early and produce grandchildren.

"There's still a mental block," said Rahil Zafar, 22, a student, wearing a bandanna over his face to hide his identity from television cameras as he celebrated. "I don't want my family to know. They keep the pressure on me."

New documents found in a Mount Vernon chest prove that George Washington sucked dick. The letters were found in a chest that was tucked away in the attic of George and Martha's Mt. Vernon mansion.

Washington's lover "Jboy" John Crenshaw

Most of the 180 letters were written to John Crenshaw, a private in the regiment that General Washington crossed the Delaware with.

In one letter George Washington writes to John, who he addresses as Jboy, and says, "I was so worried about your well-being as we made our way across the river, and that you were warm enough, although as I looked back from the bow of the boat I could see that the freezing air was causing your nipples to harden and this greatly excited me and gave me the courage to fight on and win this battle."

In another letter he writes, "Martha has insisted that I get wooden teeth, but do not despair my Jboy, when I take you in my mouth I will remove them and have my lips communicate my love to you."

The Delhi High Court ruled today to decriminalize sexual activity between consenting same sex partners in New Delhi, India’s capital. This groundbreaking decision was made after eight years of proceedings and campaigning from gay rights activists. The first lawsuit seeking legalization of homosexuality in New Delhi was filed in 2001 by a gay rights NGO, the Naz Foundation

The Court's decision was immediately criticised by India's leading religious leaders, who have fought to keep sexual acts between same sex partners criminal. But gay rights activists believe the ruling will protect New Delhi's gay community from criminal charges and police harassment.

Homosexuality has been illegal in New Delhi since the British colonial era, which classified it as "against the order of nature." Before today’s ruling, 10 years was a typical punishment for gay sex

About half of American adults indicate using a vibrator, according to a new survey that sheds light on acts that take place beneath the covers and behind closed doors.

Women who used vibrators also reported better sex, including higher sexual desire and arousal, as well as orgasm. However, there was no significant difference in general sexual satisfaction between female vibrator users and non-users.

More than 50 percent of women participants had used a vibrator, with nearly one in four having done so in the past month.

More than 70 percent of women reported having never experienced any side effects associated with vibrator use. (Those side effects that were reported were typically rare and of a short duration, including mild genital numbness, irritation, or inflammation.)

About 45 percent of men, both gay and heterosexual, reported incorporating a vibrator into sexual activities.

Luis is one of those young people who was gifted to us by El Salvador, a little Central American republic that has lost too many of its brightest and most ambitious people to the United States.

At the Los Angeles Leadership Academy, he tried his hand at op-eds for the school newspaper. He wanted to provoke his fellow students. Last month, he wrote an article decrying the lack of ambition among many students at the school.

The response: silence and apathy. He wondered if they'd even read it.

He had more of an impact with an essay describing how he told his friends and classmates he was gay. It has since been republished on the website.

"It was coming out or suicide," he wrote. "I couldn't go on living with who I was pretending to be; it's like living with your worst enemy, except you share one body."

Gay rights activists in India say a ruling by the Delhi High Court decriminalising homosexuality in the country is a landmark. The judgement overturns a 148-year-old colonial law which described a same-sex relationship as an "unnatural offence".

The ruling is a huge step forward. It is fantastic. I hope the government of India accepts the Delhi High Court decision. It has been an eight-year battle and I am glad it came through.

The judges in their verdict spoke about inclusivity, equality and dignity. They spoke about a vision of India as an open, tolerant society and to hear all this from the Delhi High Court was amazing.

This long-awaited decision testifies to the reach of democracy and rights in India.

British colonisers introduced Section 377 to India in 1860. It became a model for similar sodomy laws imposed on other British colonies, and comparable provisions survive today from Singapore to Uganda.

I'm in a good mood. No. I'm like in a singing good mood. I might even dance. The state of Connecticut's efforts to go after the diocese of Bridgeport have fallen into the category of EPIC FAIL once again. The state Attorney General just called on the Office of State Ethics to stop attacking the Church.

The Attorney General stated today that Connecticut should drop their efforts to force the Diocese of Bridgeport to register as a lobbyist because "[t]here is no denying the profound and serious constitutional concerns in enforcing the lobbyist registration laws against the Church under these circumstances."

You see, it all started when a couple of dopey legislators last year got it in their tiny brains that as revenge for the Church's stance on gay marriage they were going to try to wrest the power of the Church away from bishops and forcibly hand it over to elected lay boards in each parish.
