How out of touch is Barack Obama? He's so out of touch that he suggested that if all Americans inflated their tires properly and took their cars for regular tune-ups, they could save as much oil as new offshore drilling would produce

Gleeful Republicans have made this their daily talking point; Rush Limbaugh is having a field day; and the Republican National Committee is sending tire gauges labeled "Barack Obama's Energy Plan" to Washington reporters

But who's really out of touch?

The Bush Administration estimates that expanded offshore drilling could increase oil production by 200,000 bbl. per day by 2030. We use about 20 million bbl. per day, so that would meet about 1% of our demand two decades from now

Meanwhile, efficiency experts say that keeping tires inflated can improve gas mileage 3%, and regular maintenance can add another 4%

Many drivers already follow their advice, but if everyone did, we could immediately reduce demand several percentage points. In other words: Obama is right.

Tags: obama, oil, fuel, gas, inflation, savings

<clipSource>http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1829354,00.html</clipSource>

Abunza Review

clipped by: abunzareview7

Clip Source: www.squidoo.com

Abunza Review

Finally, make real money online TONIGHT

The Abunza home base business is a brand new marketing system created by Michael Spire and Sebastian and Abunza and my team are causing some SERIOUS chatter in the home business industry. It's long been the goal of every business co-founder to somehow AUTOMATE business...so you don't have to be on the phone calling leads, making follow ups, setting up appointments, closing people, and doing all the other stuff that almost no one likes to do. Yet most people have no choice because that's all they've been taught, and it's all they know how to do. Well, Michael Spire and Sebastian and the online business of Abunza just CHANGED all that and its official on Dec. 1 2007so as you can imagine during this pre-launch stage many have token advantage of saving $250.

Tags: abunza review, abunza, mlm, cruise to cash, edc gold, gregory drake, home based business

<clipSource>http://www.squidoo.com/abunzareview7</clipSource>

Vaccine Nation (Director’s Cut)

clipped by: WIDEEYECINEMA

Clip Source: wideeyecinema.com

Vaccine Nation (Director’s Cut)

why push ups?

Push ups are one of the basic and most common exercises for the human body. Push ups are not only great for your chest, but do a tremendous job of defining your abs, triceps, shoulders and torso.

Push ups can be performed no matter where you are, and best of all, they are completely free - no expensive equipment or annual gym fees required! If you're looking to develop a great chest and shoulders, you could do much worse than follow along with the hundred push ups plan. Your core strength will also go through the roof too!

To improve your strength, fitness and general health all you need to do is commit about 30 minutes of your time per week, and follow the push ups training program as closely as you can. I promise you will feel much better about yourself and much more confident after just a few short workouts.

Good luck!

Think there's no way you could do this? I think you can! All you need is a good plan, plenty of discipline and about 30 minutes a week to achive this goal!

No doubt some of you can already do 50 consecutive push ups, but let's face it, you're in a big minority. Most of you reading this won't even be able to manage 20 pushups. Actually, I'm sure many of you can't even do 10.

However, it really doesn't matter which group you fall into. If you follow the progressive push ups training program, I'm positive you'll soon be able to do 100 push ups!

People are wondering why oil prices continue to rise, not appreciating
how the global economy works. As Gary Dorsch (editor of GLOBAL MONEY
TRENDS) explains, the Federal Reserve would like to inflate the money
supply further and lower interest rates to cushion the U.S. housing
market and help relieve pressure on the subprime credit crisis. However,
if the Fed cuts interest rates, it risks sending the value of the dollar
lower which leads to higher oil prices, which in turn lead to higher
food, etc. prices (inflation). The situation has been exacerbated by
Kuwait and Iran (and others to follow) breaking their peg to the U.S.
dollar in terms of oil payments. And if Hugo Chavez in Venezuela does
likewise, the dollar will become even weaker.

It’s
critical to the power elite’s plans for global control that the
public be kept ignorant about important information.

Tags: federal-reserve, currency, dollar, us-government, elites, crisis, foreign, corporations, nwo

<clipSource>http://www.newswithviews.com/Cuddy/dennis131.htm</clipSource>

the hundred push ups training program

clipped by: jedipunk

Clip Source: hundredpushups.com

As valiant crewmen fought the flames and rushing sea water, their life rafts and lifeboats were deliberately destroyed by Israeli gunfire. Sometimes the itch is in other areas, but mostly it’s down there.” She pointed to a place on her lower back. “I have to claw at it all the time, and it doesn’t ease up. It’s a different kind of itch, like I’m getting eaten up on the inside.” I examined the area, but it was remarkable only for its scratch marks.

I reviewed her history. No diabetes, no recent bites, no hives, no recent infections, no new drugs or allergies, and no change in her emotional state that might account for this malady. Greta also said she had no liver, gall bladder, or kidney disease. She was not a drinker, smoker, or drug user. She had suffered with this persistent itch for almost a year and had never had any symptoms like it before.

For the first few months that she experienced the itch, she was pregnant with her second child. “This didn’t happen the first time. Does he have a parish and a parish priest? Where are they, and what do they have to say?

Clip Source: www.timesonline.co.uk

Franciscan friars at Assisi have confirmed that Mikhail Gorbachev, the last
Soviet President, is a Christian after he was seen praying at the tomb of St
Francis.

Mr Gorbachev has long acknowledged that he was influenced by his grandmother,
an Orthodox believer and is a a regular participant in peace conferences in
the Umbrian town where St Francis is buried. Vladimir Putin, a former KGB
officer, has also turned to Orthodox Christianity and wears a cross round
his neck.

Mr Gorbachev's parents reportedly

awareness of one's own character defects. To
recognize and acknowledge that one has
imperfections is being humble. We should never
pray for ourselves unless by doing so it would
help another person. To have self-importance
puts self first and this is not humble. We each
have strengths and we each have weaknesses.
Both the strengths and weaknesses are sacred.
Life is sacred. We learn sacred things from
weaknesses also. Therefore, all lives are
developed through trial and error, strength and
weakness, ups and downs, gains and losses-
all of these are part of life and life is sacred.

the sacredness
