The CW has announced the timeslot for the new show worthy of comparisons to The WB alum Gilmore Girls. That’s right TV fans, Life UneXpected (Lux) will premiere on Monday, January 18th, replacing what would normally be Gossip Girl. This WOULD seem to indicate that they’re actually supporting this show, which is not about rich, white kids at all. (I know, take a moment - it’s shocking.)

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler joined Joe Perry on stage in New York to set the record straight about the future of the feuding rock group.

"New York, I want you to know I'm not leaving Aerosmith," Tyler told fans in a surprise appearance on Tuesday night (US time) at a concert by Perry's solo side project.

Tyler, 61 and Perry - his songwriting partner of 40 years - then launched into a version of Walk This Way, music website NME.com reports.

The future of the band has been in doubt since a North American tour was cut short in August when Tyler fell off stage.

Relations between Perry and Tyler deteriorated to an all-time low this week with bitter Twitter messages and cryptic asides about whether Tyler is still with the band.

Tyler told celebrity website TMZ.com after Tuesday's appearance that: "There is absolutely no validity to the rumour that Aerosmith is breaking up."

Perry said of Tyler's appearance at his concert. "He just couldn't stay away."

I had an interesting exchange on Twitter the other day.

Me: During my CA round-trip, American did 3 nice things (ex: free rebook for missed flight). Did I get lucky 3 times, or is AA always like this?

Skyvan: They know who you are, that’s why you got that treatment. They never do that.

Dandebrito: American: “Hmmm… Pogue has over a million Twitter followers. Should we be extra nice or give him steerage service?”

What my readers are suggesting, of course, is that I’m getting good service because I’m a columnist, and this issue comes up surprisingly often. Whenever I write about a tech-support call that went well, or recount a run-in with an impressive clerk at Best Buy or whatever, there’s always an outpouring of feedback that amounts to: “You just got good service because you’re you.”

Well, I don’t know. Viewers of my videos might recognize me (it happens about once a month when I’m out and about); tech fans might know my name.

The Premise: Take everyone on this list, get them blind drunk, then insinuate that each said something about the other' mother. Throw in some hammers and fans and watch the shit go crazy.

What Made It Ridiculous: Samus and Kirby cannot coexist. It' a law of physics. A gritty intergalactic woman warrior cannot occupy the same reality as a waddling cream puff. If you're going to just throw shit together, you might as well add Rob Schneider and a can of baked beans as playable characters. (Actually, that might be kind of cool.)

Why We Didn't Care: If reality' going to break down anyway, you might as well humiliate your buddies by schooling them with Jigglypuff.
