Hanau: Am 1. Advent (Sonntag, 29. November 2009) geht es in vorweihnachtlicher Stimmung nach Michelstadt im Odenwald. Rund vier Stunden haben die Fahrgäste Zeit, sich auf dem dortigen Weihnachtsmarkt und in der reizvollen Stadt umzuschauen. Der Zug startet in Hanau Hbf gegen 13.45 Uhr, in Seligenstadt gegen 14 Uhr. Michelstadt wird ungefähr eineinhalb Stunden später erreicht, unterwegs hält der Zug noch in Hainstadt und Babenhausen. Die abendliche Rückfahrt endet dann gegen 19.45 Uhr wieder Hanau Hbf.

Fahrkarten gibt es nur im Vorkauf direkt beim Verein, entweder über dessen Homepage oder Telefon 0179 / 678 3055 (samstags zwischen 14 und 16 Uhr). Sie kosten für Hin- und Rückfahrt für Erwachsene 32,- Euro. Kinder zwischen vier und zwölf Jahren zahlen die Hälfte. Eine vierköpfige Familie ist mit 80,- Euro dabei.

I would also suppose that even if someone never travels overseas, he would understand that if the US dollar loses 50% of its value against all the other world currencies (everything else being equal), it means the US is 50% poorer relative to the rest of the world. (Now, this is not entirely correct, since the US has overseas assets that would appreciate in value in USD terms).

Moreover, stock price movements become extremely volatile and erratic in countries with a depreciating currency. In the long run, the depreciation of the currency will usually more than eliminate the gains in local currency terms. So, whereas in 2007 both the Dow Jones and the S&P 500 exceeded their previous highs reached in 2000 in US dollar terms, these indices failed to make new highs in Euro terms. In addition, whereas the US economy expanded in US dollar terms between 2001 and 2007, in Euro terms it actually contracted!

Ieri è stato approvato il decreto che ho fortemente voluto per aiutare con contributi di solidarietà le famiglie che hanno ricevuto un?ordinanza di sgombero in seguito a una frana. Siamo la prima Regione in Italia ad approvare una simile scelta e i fondi andranno subito a sostenere interventi concreti per circa 600 mila euro. Nella provincia di Pesaro spiccano i casi di Mondavio e di Cagli in cui i proprietari riceveranno, tramite i Comuni, assegni rispettivamente per 136 mila euro e 129 mila. Le loro case erano state colpite da una frana e sono stati costretti a cercare un?altra abitazione. Con questa legge forniremo un aiuto concreto a queste famiglie. Gli altri casi nelle Marche sono a Force (Ap), Lapedonia (Fm) e Potenza Picena (Mc)?.

Nov. 8 (Bloomberg) -- The International Monetary Fund said traders are probably using the dollar to fund “carry trades” around the world and the currency may still be overvalued even after its slide this year.

“There are indications that the U.S. dollar is now serving as the funding currency for carry trades,” the IMF said in a report published yesterday. “These trades may be contributing to upward pressure on the euro and some emerging-economy currencies.” While the dollar “has moved closer to medium-run equilibrium,” it is still “on the strong side.”

With investors able to borrow at near-zero interest rates in the U.S., some economists are concerned that markets may become distorted as traders plow those funds into riskier assets. Nouriel Roubini, the economist who forecast the financial crisis in 2006, said Nov. 4 that investors are milking the “mother of all carry trades.”

Brothel offers discounts to cyclists

A Berlin brothel is doing its bit for the environment - by offering discounts to customers who arrive on bicycles.

"The recession has hit our industry hard," said Thomas Goetz, owner of the Maison d'envie brothel.

"Obviously we hope that the discount will attract more people. It's good for business, it's good for the environment - and it's good for the girls."

Customers who arrive on a bicycle or who can prove they took public transportation get a five euro (£4.30) discount from the usual 70-euro fee for a 45 minute session.

"We have around three to five new customers coming in daily to take advantage of the discount," he said, adding the green rebate has helped alleviate traffic and parking congestion in the neighbourhood.

Crucifixes have been banned in Italian schools by a ruling from the European Court of Human Rights.

The decision has enraged politicians, with Italy's foreign minister Franco Frattini saying: 'This is a death blow for a Europe of values and rights.

'Europe's roots lie in its Christian identity. At a time when we're trying to bring religions closer, the Christian religion gets whacked.

The case was brought by a Finnish woman, Soile Lautsi, who is married to an Italian.

Both are atheists.

The European court's ruling, which will be enforced in three months, said crucifixes could disturb children who were not Christians.

And it ordered the Italian government to pay 5000 Euro moral damages to Lautsi.

Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini introduced legislation in 1924 ordering all classrooms to display crucifixes. Despite several attempts to have the law overturned in recent years it has stood.

Enschede investeert 1,5 miljoen euro in tot nu toe nog zes projecten op het gebied van energiebesparing. Het gaat daarbij om projecten die ook op steun van andere overheden kunnen rekenen en werkgelegenheid opleveren.

Enschede kiest bij duurzaamheid voor het terugdringen van CO2 uitstoot, energiebesparing en de toepassing van duurzame energie. Kansen worden vooral gezien bij verbeteringen in bestaande woningen, de eigen gebouwen van de gemeente, gebiedsontwikkeling, duurzame energie en voorlichting.

Sanierung: Das Odenwald-Hallenbad in Michelstadt wird bis Mai 2010 für rund 2,6 Millionen Euro erneuert

„Bis wir hier fertig sind, haben wir 350 Tonnen Altmaterial rausgeholt“, erklärt Schwimmbad-Pächter Holger Volk. „Im Grunde bauen wir das Bad von innen neu auf“, sagt Sean Brent von der Odenwälder Wasser- und Abwasser-Service GmbH (Owas)

In die Neugestaltung des Bades investiert der Zweckverband rund 2,6 Millionen Euro. Das sind knapp 300 000 Euro mehr als noch vor kurzem geplant.

Die Besucher gehen künftig durch einen Eingangsbereich mit automatisch öffnender Tür, daneben baut Pächter Volk auf eigene Kosten einen Wintergarten an die Cafeteria an.

Auch während der Bauarbeiten ist die von Holger Volk betriebene Sauna geöffnet. „Wir legen die Arbeiten so, dass die Gäste nichts mitbekommen“, verspricht der gelernte Schwimmmeister Volk, der schon bei der Eröffnung des Bades dabei war, das er seit September 2004 gepachtet hat. „Es ist richtig, das Bad neu aufzustellen.

Armut in Europa

Wie ich schon öfters geschrieben ist der Plan der NWO die westliche Gesellschaft zu deindustralisieren, die Mittelschicht zu zerstören und die Massen zu verarmen. Das passiert schon seit Jahren in den USA, aber jetzt auch in Europa. Schaut euch an was unser Volksreporter aus Spanien berichtet über was dort los ist und in der ganzen EU kommen wird. Und mit dem Lissabon-Vertrag der die totale Liberalisierung zum Vorteil der Konzerne bringt erst recht.

Hier wird vorgerechnet, dass man eine 4-Köpfige Familie mit 28 Euro pro Woche ernähren kann.

Stellt Euch mal ganz persönlich vor wie das so ist, 1 Euro pro Person pro Tag!

Habt Ihr eine Ahnung wie viele Familien auf solche „Hinweise“ angewiesen sind und habt Ihr eine Ahnung wie viele sich sogar die 28 Euro pro Woche nicht leisten können?

Man bedenke auch noch, dass hier in Spanien ALLES auf Pump läuft Haus, Auto….
