the fireworks at disneyland go off at 9:30 on most nights. apparently when u get tons of money for a private paty u get fireworks at 11:30 pm. on a sunday! we thought an explosion went off over there! (we live real close) when the fireworks go off normally they always start small and then esclate. last night it was just BOOM BOOM! and it was very late. most people im sure were in bed getting ready for a tedious work week to try to pay off a home that they may lose, but not miley. she got a fourth of july worthy fireworks show and so did thousands of anaheim residents who had no idea it was coming. love your site..peace!…kevin in anaheim

'By the Short Hairs"

Now Means:
Being in such a strategically advantageous position that you can bend another person to your will. As in, "Once Hannah Montana's lawyers file suit, Disney's really going to have Cracked by the short hairs."

Most say it came from ...
The history behind "By the short hairs" is a strange one as the phrase (as it's used today) really has no history. One day somewhere in the world someone must have thought it would be funny to grab a dude by his pubes and refuse to let go--completely ignoring the poor fellow's yelps for mercy and womanly crying.

So is that true?

The earliest documented usage of the phrase can be found in a novel written by the man that brought us The Jungle Book, Rudyard Kipling. His short nonfiction story, The Drums of the Fore and Aft had this quote:

"They'll shout and carry on like this for five minutes. Then they'll rush in, and then we've got 'em by the short hairs!"

Is Miley Cyrus a Virgin? Pic Analysis says NO.

“America’s Sweetheart” Miley Cyrus (who likely is trademarked and owned by Disney until 2014, at which point she will be 21 and worthless to them) is not yet 16 years old.

My examination of these leaked pics of her tells me that there is a very high likelihood that she is not a virgin, based on my thorough knowledge of human behavior. Could I be wrong? Yes, of course. But I’d bet I’m right. By the way, statistics show that 25% of women aged 15 or less have lost their virginity (Source: National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, Washington, DC, 1998)

The 2 pics below literally look post-coital … or pre-coital. Notice the happy glazed-over looks in their eyes and the body language.

And then there are the self pics … they look similar to 1000s of other girls’ pics on facebook and myspace, but certainly not wholesome:

It is quite likely that it will be a natural thing for future generations to meet their friends in worlds such as these, where they can watch the same music or videos while chatting to each other. And if that is where youngsters will be hanging out, then brands and media, including newspapers, will have to be there. Other life-mimicking worlds about to be released include shopping malls such as themall.tv, which aims to emulate an entire shopping mall with scores of high street shops. It claims to have signed up 500 brands.

Most people still look askance if you admit to using virtual worlds where you move around with an avatar or 3D version of yourself. It recalls the technophobic reactions in the early days of the internet. But attitudes may now change for two reasons. First, children are piling into their own virtual worlds, so their parents can get a glimpse of what it is all about. And second, a huger user base is being created, one that is accustomed to virtual worlds and is ready to trade up to more sophisticated ones as they grow older.

Some of the kids' sites have more registered (but not necessarily active) members than countries have citizens. These include Habbo Hotel (more than 100 million registered users), Neopets (45 million) and Disney's Club Penguin (20 million). Up the scale there are spaces such as Second Life and hipihi.com from China. Kzero reckons that there are about 100 million active users of virtual world.
