Kaartverificatiecode

Dit is een beveiligingsgetal waarmee je aantoont dat je de creditcard echt bezit. Bij Visa en Mastercard is de kaartverificatiecode gemakkelijk te vinden op de acherzijde van de kaart: de laatste drie cijfers van het getal naast je handtekening. Bij American Express staat ze op de voorzijde van je kaart, bovenaan het credit card number.

Waar Vind Je dat Op Je Creditcard?

Dat is de vraag die veel mensen zich stellen als ze iets aan het bestellen zijn op internet en willen betalen met hun creditcard. Vandaar dit artikel:

Visa en master card worden bijna overal aanvaard. Enkel met andere soorten creditcards moet je oppassen.

Het creditcard nummer is het belangrijkste gegeven op je betaalpas. Het nummer wordt geanalyseerd met wiskundige algoritmes om te kijken of je de juiste vervaldatum, soort van credit card enzomeer hebt opgegeven.

Iets wat je nauwlettend in het oog moet houden is de verval datum van je credit card. Die vind je vooraan op je kaart: het zijn twee getallen van twee cijfers, van elkaar gescheiden met een slashteken.

Kaartverificatienummer

Laat je niet verwarren door dit nummer: met CVC, CVV, CID en CRC duiden allemaal op hetzelfde nummer. Telkens staat het naast je handtekening of boven je creditcardnummer en zijn het de laatste 3 cijfers die je moet invullen.

Creditcard Merk

Er zijn creditcards van verschillende merken; de meest bekende zijn Visa, Mastercard, American express en Diners Club.

Het Creditcard nummer

Dit nummer is makkelijk terug te vinden op de voorzijde van je kaart.

Geldigheidsdatum

Bij Visacards vind je deze datum naast 'Expires End' en bij Mastercards naast de woorden 'Valid Thru'.

CVV code

Afhankelijk van het merk van creditcard noemt deze code CVV, CVC, CID, CIN of CRC.
