July 4: Meditation for World Peace (thousands of people encircling the main meadow with hands held chanting "OM", followed by a parade led by Kiddie Village and then culminating in a big boisterous celebration that lasts all day and night:

This is the very colorful "Grandpa Woodstock" who is a regular attendee of the Annual Gathering. He told me that I was "very beautiful and could be Queen of the Blueberry Blossoms"!

The area was very beautiful. We walked along the Dutch Joe River....

Love me tinder... Red hot model of Elvis Presley made of matches

It is a striking likeness. But beware. Just one stray spark and Elvis becomes a hunk-a-hunk of burning love.

The image of Elvis Presley, along with Marilyn Monroe, Mao Tse Tung, Muhammad Ali and Buddha are the work of Scottish artist David Mach.

It took him more than 500 hours and 1,000 boxes of coloured-tip matches imported from Japan to complete the 2ft Presley sculpture. Each match was glued on to a glass fibre mould.

He also made four smaller Elvis heads, each using around 15,000 coloured matches.

The big Elvis piece has been sold for £18,000.

He produces his matchstick pieces with the help of his wife Lesley and a team of ten artists.

Epilepsy is a problem affecting the brain, symbolized by recurring and uncontrolled seizures. Some of the symptoms of epilepsy are uncontrolled movements of the body, disorientation or confusion, sudden fear, or loss of consciousness. Epilepsy may occur due to a head injury, stroke, brain tumor, lead poisoning, genetic conditions, or severe infections like encephalitis.

Epilepsy has got nothing to do with “mental derangement” or “mental illness” like some societies of the world tends to believe!

Rather the epilepsy afflicted people are very special, and are specially blessed by God! Most of them are outstanding in at least one field or the other, especially in the creativity field! firefox officially sets new guiness download

The new Guinness world record for the largest number of software downloads in a 24-hour period has officially been set by Mozilla.

In June, Firefox 3.0 had 8,002,530 downloads in a 24-hour period.

"The enthusiasm and creativity of Firefox fans was key to making this happen," said marketing head Paul Kim.

Mary Colvig, marketing manager for Mozilla, said no party was planned to celebrate the record until the actual certificate was presented by Guinness World Records in London next week.

"Here at Mozilla headquarters (in Mountain View) I think most of us are just going to try and get to bed early now that we have the confirmation. We are all tired."

The servers were handling more than 9,000 downloads per minute. Within five hours the number of downloads for Version 3.0 exceeded the 1.6 million set by Firefox 2.0 in October 2006.

Mozilla's market share increased more than 19% making it the second most popular browser after Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

This is the “baby” of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000) and Rogner Bad Blumau, is one of the places where he fully expressed his vision in architecture and overall philosophy - Life in harmony and in harmony with nature.

Little more digging, produced many-many more examples of Hundertwasser’s beautiful colorful work. He managed to turn the most ordinary things, like a public toilet in a small New Zealand’s community into icons of architectural creativity:

We will develop a hypnotizing experimental Flash object that gradually increases the rotation speed of any graphic. It produces interesting effects as the rotation speed changes. After completing this tutorial, you will be able to easily change the spinning graphic with your own. As a flexible experimental piece, your creativity will lead to your own unique results. So far there have been more than 28 million downloads of Firefox 3.0

Mozilla has officially made history with a new Guinness world record for the largest number of software downloads in a 24-hour period.

The final record breaking 8,002,530 downloads for web browser Firefox 3.0 took place in June.

"The enthusiasm and creativity of Firefox fans was key to making this happen" said Marketing head Paul Kim.

Gareth Deaves of Guinness World Records called it "an extremely impressive accomplishment".

The official figure was confirmed after logs from download servers were audited and checked to ensure duplicate and unfinished downloads were not counted.

Mr Kim told the BBC News: "The notion of going for a world record, as gooky and nutty as it may have sounded, was a really sticky idea.

"It was an idea that translated really well across national borders and to all different kinds of people around the world."
