Little attention has been paid to Gen. Stanley McChrystal's back-story and his rise to the height of military command of U.S. troops in Afghanistan. Before becoming the voice of gravity and a champion of higher troop levels in the eight-year long war, McChrystal's resume was sullied by a controversy in that same theater: the misclassified death of Pat Tillman.

McChrystal was the head of Special Operations command in Afghanistan during Army Ranger (and former football star) Pat Tillman's death. McChrystal was the one who approved paperwork awarding Tillman a Silver Star despite knowing (or at least suspecting) that he had died in fratricide and not, as originally determined, enemy fire.

This was once a big embarrassment for the army and, to a lesser extent, McChrystal himself (though he has copped to making an innocent mistake). But when the general was elevated to top spot in Afghanistan this past spring, relatively few publications revisited the affair.

What is it about 9/11 truth that is so profoundly polarizing?

Ken Jenkins, in his recent article "The Truth Is Not Enough: Overcoming Emotional Barriers to 9/11 Truth" offers a long list of reasons for the common adverse reactions, including the scale of the lie, the need for a major paradigm shift, blind nationalist faith, admission of gullibility, PTSD, and several others. Ken is right, but he does not go far enough. A deeper reason is that the truth of 9/11 illustrates, better than any other iconic image, the catastrophic spiritual bankruptcy of our civilization.

The fact that people from this civilization's ruling elite planned and executed the 9/11 false-flag attacks and subsequent criminal wars, while their co-civilizationalists have been unwilling or unable to bring them to justice, shows that this culture's line between right and wrong has not just been transgressed, it has been permanently obliterated.

Randall Thompson and wife, Joy, both worked at TMI and investigated the meltdown. During the investigation, their lives were threatened and they left Pennsylvania for New Mexico. They were in process of writing a book on the meltdown and coverup with Joy's brother, Charles (a nuclear Navy vet). One night, while Randall and Charles were driving home, they were run off the road and Charles was killed. The book manuscript that was in the trunk of the car, went mysteriously missing.

What the Thompsons say they found out during their time inside TMI suggests radiation releases from the plant were hundreds if not thousands of times higher than the government and industry have acknowledged -- high enough to cause the acute health effects documented in people living near the plant but that have been dismissed by the industry and the government as impossible given official radiation dose estimates.

Since first reporting that Serve.gov was listing activist positions with ACORN it seems now that all ACORN listings have been scrubbed from the taxpayer-funded site without any explanation as to why they were on it in the first place. The government was using our taxpayer dollars to advertise for volunteer opportunities to promote the president’s partisan agenda via a corrupt organization under investigation for voter registration fraud, among other things.

Initially you could type “ACORN” into the search field on Serve.gov and various listings from planting trees to volunteering to get out the vote in Ohio, for ACORN, would appear in the results. It’s important to note that several ACORN positions were listed directly on the federally-funded Serve.gov – not just on the AllforGood.org website.

The White House has not offered an apology nor explanation as to why taxpayers were paying for a federal website to push an agenda that half the country opposes.

I am proud of the majority of law enforcement and realize their job isn't easy. And yeah their are time when force is needed. Many though now actually look forward now though too any confrontation so they can get to use tazer. It's like a power trip to them. Probably kick dogs to when nobody looking. Need harder testing and philological testing before slap a badge on some of these dipwads. More then likely were bullied in high school and college so now feel they have the power.

In the weeks following the atomic attacks on Japan 64 years ago, and then for decades afterward, the United States engaged in airtight suppression of all film shot in Hiroshima and Nagasaki after the bombings. This included footage shot by U.S. military crews and Japanese newsreel teams. In addition, for many years, all but a handful of newspaper photographs were seized or prohibited.

The public did not see any of the newsreel footage for 25 years, and the U.S. military film remained hidden for nearly four decades. HOLLYWOOD - Police Chief Chad Wagner asked for the public's patience Friday as his agency investigates four officers under suspicion of falsifying a crash report and said a crime scene technician is also being scrutinized for his role in the incident.

Wagner said he asked the Broward State Attorney's Office to aid in the investigation, but Broward Chief Public Defender Howard Finkelstein continued to call for an outside agency, such as the FBI, to take over.

Though the crash at the root of the controversy happened more than five months ago a patrol officer rear-ended a woman's car Wagner said he first learned of the alleged cover-up that it spawned only this week.

On Tuesday, he ordered the four officers and crime scene technician suspended with pay and launched an internal investigation.

Clearly coverup and criminal and continue to get paid while being investigated.....Wake up America !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think for a moment of other recent examples of Democrat cover-ups. John Kerry comes to mind. The press excoriated anyone who questioned his military record. Yet, despite the very public promises to release his full record, most notably to the late Tim Russert, he has never done so. He never will, because in that record one would find just what a liar John Kerry is.

John Edwards portrayed himself as the quintessential husband and father. His boyish good looks, his empathy for the downtrodden and his abiding love for his cancer stricken wife made him a vice-presidential shoo-in, except for that mistress and love child that he visited regularly

How about all the assurances that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were in good order? No audits or reforms necessary, everything is just fine. How many members of Congress blocked meaningful regulation for many years?

Let me start by admitting my own bias. I’m a huge fan of Professor Gates and have been for years. But after having been involved in the criminal justice system for the past 30 years, I can also safely say that it didn’t matter—I knew what had happened and why without reading the police reports: the police responded to a call from a white neighbor who reported seeing two black men “breaking in” to a house. The cops didn’t know what they had until they got there, and when they did, they found one very angry black man. It probably didn’t take them long to figure out he really lived there, but by then there’d been a lot of heat and noise, with Gates threatening to have their badges.
