Aladdin:

The flying carpet with stuffed legs rested on top of a lap tray. To give the rug support it was glue gunned to two pieces of sturdy cardboard with an opening cut out for the waist. A slit was also cut through the carpet and cardboard to make flaps that could be bent up to allow the carpet to slide easily off or just leave the back open. To make the legs, stuff sweat pants with fiberfill. Position the stuffed legs folded on the carpet and glue in place. You can make "genie type" shoes from gold material or purchase at costume stores. To give the effect of the sky, glue strips of blue streamers around the carpet.

Bigfoot Hoaxers Say It Was a 'Big Joke'

The two Georgia men who set off a frenzy by claiming to have found a Bigfoot corpse last week confess that it was "just a hoax, just a big joke." Matt Whitton, one of the men who pulled off the hoax, is kicked off the police force.

At a news conference in California last week, the two men had stood by their claims that they had discovered Bigfoot's corpse and had it on ice. Scientific analysis would prove it, they said.

Now the two Georgia men admit that the hairy, icy blob was an Internet-purchased Sasquatch costume stuffed with possum roadkill and slaughterhouse leftovers.

Still unclear is how much money Whitton and Dyer got out of the hoax.
