I used Jingle Level 2, white cardstock, All Decked Out stamp set, white daisy embossing powder, clear sparkles, liquid glass and white daisy organdy ribbon.

Here are the patterns that I created - cut on the black lines and score on the red lines

For the insert fold along all of the score lines, punch your holes and cut the slit for the card as shown. Put glue on the bottom 1/2", fold to make a 3-D rectangle which you then glue into the gift card holder lining the bottom up with the 3 1/2" line. Once that is secure fold the side flaps over and glue to the insert.

Birther Taitz not off the hook for $10,000 frivolous lawsuit fine

Judge Clay Land today granted Birther attorney Orly Taitz's motion to withdraw as counsel for her ex-client, but said he was not authorizing any breach of attorney-client privilege, and reminded her that she still must respond to his threat of sanctions for frivolous filings.

Land, of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, writes in the order today:

The Court further notes that this order shall not be construed to authorize Plaintiff's counsel to breach any attorney-client privilege that may exist due to counsel's representation of Plaintiff.

Whether Plaintiff expressly authorized counsel to file the motion for reconsideration is irrelevant to the Court's determination of whether the filing was legally frivolous.

The letter he references was a message to the court from Taitz's ex-client, Army Capt. Connie Rhodes, that denounces Taitz and disowns an emergency motion she filed. Read Land's whole order here.

Birther Fail: Judge ready to slap Orly Taitz with $10,000 fine

Earlier this week, Land dismissed a suit that Taitz had brought on behalf of Army Capt. Connie Rhodes, a surgeon who claimed that she couldn't follow her orders to deploy to Iraq because she's not sure President Obama is eligible, under the Constitution, to hold his current position. At the time, Land warned Taitz that if she filed any more "similarly frivolous ... actions in this Court" she'd face sanctions.

Taitz, of course, didn't seem to listen. Instead, she filed an angry motion asking Land to reconsider his decision and stay Rhodes' deployment

In an order issued Friday, Land denied Taitz's request and announced that he was considering making good on his threat of sanctions. He ordered the attorney-slash-dentist "to show cause why the Court should not impose a monetary penalty of $10,000.00 upon Plaintiff’s counsel for her misconduct," and gave her 14 days to do so.

This is particularly true for Camille Olivia Strate's new book titled, "Whispers."

Just observing the charming and inviting front cover of the book, you might imagine that this is a quick and easy read and that devouring the entire volume might be done over a lunch break.

"Whispers" is not a book that will be read and soon forgotten. As readers are immersed in the accounts Ms. Strate so vividly shares, they will be uplifted and inspired to order copies of the book for friends or coworkers; they will want relatives or neighbors to have their very own copy because there is a keen understanding that others will resonate with what this author so openly shares.

U.S. District Court Judge Clay Land has thrown out a complaint questioning the president's birth from an Army captain fighting deployment to Iraq and gave a warning to her lawyer, birther maven Orly Taitz.

Land also put attorney Orly Taitz, who represents Capt. Connie Rhodes and is a leader in the national "birther" movement, on notice by stating that she could face sanctions if she ever files a similar "frivolous" lawsuit in his court.

"(Rhodes) has presented no credible evidence and has made no reliable factual allegations to support her unsubstantiated, conclusory allegations and conjecture that President Obama is ineligible to serve as president of the United States," Land states in his order. "Instead, she uses her complaint as a platform for spouting political rhetoric, such as her claims that the president is 'an illegal usurper, an unlawful pretender, [and] an unqualified imposter.'"

Dietary supplements claiming to help postmenopausal women with bone health may not be doing what they say, according to new research from Purdue University

"We found that some plant-derived isoflavones have a modest effect on suppressing bone loss during post-menopause, but more concerning is many dietary supplements that claim to have the power of estrogen do not," said Connie Weaver, distinguished professor of foods and nutrition. "It's buyer beware. Some of the supplements in our study claimed to be substitutes for estrogen, yet they weren't effective at all or weren't as effective as some of the current treatments for osteoporosis."

Women who are menopausal or postmenopausal produce less estrogen, and that leads to bone loss. More than 2 million women in the United States reach menopause each year, according to the National Women's Health Resource Center.

Estrogen hormone replacement therapy was the traditional treatment, but it is no longer recommended

Nay, it’s not what you’re thinking about…. the fourth and fifth season of Friday Night Lights would surely hit the TV screens. I am talking about next to these two seasons. Most probably, Friday Night Lights would get canceled after these two seasons.
