Andrew Breitbart's BigGovernment.com publishes audio excerpts of a talk given by ACORN spokesman David Lagstein to the East County Democrat Club in El Cajon, CA, suggesting the fix is in.

Lagstein notes that the Attorney General is a "political animal." He states that he has been in communication with Brown's office and assures the crowd that "the fault WILL be found with the people that did the video - not ACORN."

On October 15th, local ACORN spokesman David Lagstein was the special guest of the East County Democrat Club in El Cajon, CA. Lagstein is ACORN’s chief organizer in the San Diego area. The meeting was held at Coco’s Restaurant, a very public venue. Because of ACORN’s close ties to the Democrat party, Mr. Lagstein clearly felt he was among friends. These two clips suggest the investigation of ACORN announced by California Attorney General Jerry Brown already has a pre-determined outcome.

Dunn to Step Down as White House Communications Director

Anita Dunn, the White House’s veteran communications director, will be stepping down from her post at the end of November, turning the reins to Dan Pfeiffer, currently the deputy communications director.

Dunn made waves when she publicly decried Fox News as a partisan outfit that would not get cooperation from the White House. That touched off what prognosticators called a war between the cable news channel and the Obama administration. Fox News is owned by News Corp., as is The Wall Street Journal.

In September, Obama appeared on five Sunday news shows – but not on “Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.” Earlier, Fox Broadcast Network hadn’t carried Obama’s address on health care to a joint session of Congress.

Asked about Dunn’s departure, a Fox News spokeswoman said, “We wish Anita well in her future endeavors.”

9 November 2009: According to an intelligence source speaking to the Northeast Intelligence Network, forensic analysis of Nidal Malik HASAN’s computer and other media determined that HASAN had routinely visited al Qaeda and Islamic terrorist web sites in months and weeks leading to last week’s massacre at Fort Hood. According to this investigative source, HASAN also downloaded material from the web site operated by former Dar al Hijrah mosque leader and terrorist facilitator Anwar Nasser al Awlaki. As reported here, al Awlaki was an imam at the Dar al Hijrah mosque in Fall Church, Virginia in 2001, where he advised and facilitated two of the 9/11 terrorists in the months prior to the attacks. Al Awlaki also counseled HASAN during that same period.

The information obtained from HASAN’s digital files reportedly shows a “pattern of deliberate and willful planning to conduct some type of attack against the U.S. military prior to his deployment” [to Afghanistan], stated this source

The listener thinks ahead of the talker, trying to anticipate what the oral discourse is leading to and what conclusions will be drawn from the words spoken at the moment.

The listener weighs the evidence used by the talker to support the points that he makes. "Is this evidence valid?" the listener asks himself. "Is it the complete evidence?"

Periodically the listener reviews and mentally summarizes the points of the talk completed thus far.

Throughout the talk, the listener "listens between the lines" in search of meaning that is not necessarily put into spoken words. He pays attention to nonverbal communication (facial expressions, gestures, tone of voice) to see if it adds meaning to the spoken words. He asks himself, "Is the talker purposely skirting some area of the subject? Why is he doing so?"
