The cat Garfield is named after Jim's grandfather, James Garfield Davis, who is again named after President James A. He loves to destroy stuff, to maul the mailman and to torment his "colleague" pet Odie. He has comments sharp as a knife, usually on Jon being unable to find a date. But he has also his soft side, which is reserved for food, sleep and his teddy bear.

Tags: garfield, cat, toys, comics, cartoons

<clipSource>http://www.gamellama.net/funny/cartoons-a-pictures-a-photo/garfield-comics-and-garfield-cartoon-and-friends.html</clipSource>

Anime Japan’s Manga Hentai Wonder Festival

clipped by: AbattVerner
clipper's remarks: Wonder Festival was first held in 1985. Japanese animation was still very much a niche interest even in its home country, and the major kit manufacturers were only interested in major TV franchises.
It seems, even organizers do not foreknow, who and how many figures will decide to parade. Heroines numerous anime, video games, comics, manga, hentai with own hand created characters. Practically any figure has an erotic hentai orientation.

Clip Source: hentaigirls.biz

Japan’s Wonder Festival

anime, video games, comics, manga,hentai

The fans who founded Wonder Festival had started running science fiction conventions in Osaka in 1981, with Daicon III, whose opening animation has become famous among anime, video games, comics, manga, hentai fans. They used the experience and contacts they gained to set up General Products, Japan’s first specialty science fiction store. Wonder Festival was a logical extension of the store. A number of the group went on to form anime studio GAINAX, creators of such hits as Evangelion, and in 1990 General Products withdrew from Wonder Festival and merged with GAINAX to focus on animation. They later fictionalized their memories of the period in Otaku no Video.

Invincible is the final studio album released by Michael Jackson in 2001.
Invincible is also a feel-good underdog football movie released in 2006,
starring Mark Wahlberg. But more to my point, Invincible is a young Image Comics
superhero. Why is this relevant? Because there is a real life group of <A

Rather than trying to automate the playing of the game, Obsidian Portal provides tools to help facilitate the storytelling. Every campaign gets a shared blog/wiki to showcase their story, as well as integrated tools to help track NPCs, locations, treasure, and all the other minutae that makes up an RPG. "Switch" is a manga about the Matori, drug cops of the Narcotics Control Dept in Japan. Following a very unconventional plot, we are introduced to different situations the Matori must face throughout their career, through the eyes of a newbie criminal investigator and our main character, Eto Kai. However, as the manga progresses, we gradually begin to realize that Kai isn't all he appears to be. The series, by Naked Ape, is very edge-of-your-seat, and highly recommended for everyone.

Tags: manga, anime, comics

<clipSource>http://www.mangafox.com/manga/switch/</clipSource>

20th Century Boys

clipped by: P-Fielding
clipper's remarks: Good manga, recommended by a friend. Growing older is pretty rough and Kenji is finding out just how hard it can be as life starts wearing down on him. On top of trying to make ends meet running a convenience store, he has to care for the niece that his missing sister left in his care. Memories of youth make it easier, until those memories come back to haunt you.

Kenji and his old friends are slowly being drawn into a mysterious conspiracy that could threaten the world. Who is the mysterious "friend", and how does he tie into Kenji's youth? Why are there disappearances and deaths tied into Ochanomizu University? The friend's memories hold the keys to the puzzle, but years between cloud the clues.

The strange occurances and the reach of the "friend" conspiracy grow by the day. It will all culminate on New Year's Eve 2000. Will Kenji and the rest of the group be able to put together the puzzle and save the world?

Tags: manga, comics, ani

<clipSource>http://www.mangafox.com/manga/20th_century_boys/</clipSource>

Giant Purple Sea Creature Eats Captain

clipped by: Twizted Paths

Clip Source: www.schlockmercenary.com

Tags: web comics, purple, cute, monster, pictures, guns, sci fi, military, self defense

<clipSource>http://www.schlockmercenary.com/d/20030608.html</clipSource>

Sean McKeever back with “Web of Spider-Man #1″

clipped by: mickey4u
clipper's remarks: American comic book writer Sean Kelley McKeever is now again back to Marvel Comics after spending a long period with DC. he was having a contract with DC these days but he has back to Marvel with Web of Spider-Man #1 this week after expiration of DC Contract. Since President Obama’s election, the cable news channel has dropped all but the barest pretense of objectivity. It’s closer to Orwell’s “Ministry of Truth.” Fox openly promotes “Tea Parties” and other political demonstrations; it portrays every perceived White House defeat, such as Chicago’s failure to secure the 2016 Olympic Games, as a victory for something called “Fox Nation.”

“Doublethink,” Orwell called it: the ability to “hold simultaneously two opinions which canceled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them.” So it is with “Fox Nation” and “fair and balanced.”

Clip Source: www.salon.com

Oct. 15, 2009 | In theory, the national news media function in a free market of ideas: a self-regulating, relentless quest for what the old Superman comics called “Truth, Justice, and the American way.” (Actually, Clark Kent’s newspaper-reporter disguise strikes contemporary audiences as a sentimental anachronism. Today, he’d be a rogue cop or a CIA operative.)

In practice, Washington political journalism has become a subdivision of the entertainment industry: its best-known practitioners are second- and third-tier TV stars, and news itself a form of politicized “infotainment.” Even lowly print reporters and pundits can greatly improve their incomes by appearing on programs like “Hardball” and copping an attitude.

Tags: faux news, fake news, propaganda, ministry of (un)truth, far right, lies, damned lies, fox

<clipSource>http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2009/10/15/fox_news/index.html?source=newsletter</clipSource>

Emotion 1 + Emotion 2 = Emotion 3 = funny

clipped by: coconutshell
clipper's remarks:

Clip Source: www.kk.org

Tags: humour, comics, faces

<clipSource>http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/makingcomics4_sm.jpg</clipSource>

If the Statue of Liberty came from Sweden.

clipped by: coconutshell
clipper's remarks:

Clip Source: www.basketcasecomix.com

Tags: comics, humour, funny

<clipSource>http://www.basketcasecomix.com/?p=1224</clipSource>
