Navajo Wind Energy Corp. (the "Company" and formerly Caliber Energy Inc.) (PINKSHEETS: CLBN) announces today that it has taken delivery of 10 of the 53 wind turbines per the manufacturing supply agreement with China Lao Gaixian Wind L.P., represented by PCA Wind Power OA Inc., for its 120.80 MW wind farm project in Liaoning Province, China (the "China Lao Gaixian Project").

The Agreement includes provisions for supplying the China Lao Gaixian Project with 53 complete wind turbines, as well as testing and commissioning services. The Agreement also provides for operations and maintenance services to be provided to China Lao Gaixian Wind L.P. over a two-year period. This agreement is anticipated to result in approximately US$65 million in revenue over its duration.

They had decided to 'seed' clouds with chemicals to produce rain and ease a drought in Beijing.

The operation went exactly as they had hoped - except that temperatures dropped sharply and the precipitation fell as snow.

It kept going for half the day, blanketing the capital's streets and hitting air and road travel. It was the earliest snow in Beijing for ten years.

It was helped by temperatures as low as -2C (29 Fahrenheit) and strong winds from the north, Xinhua news agency reported.

'We won't miss any opportunity of artificial precipitation since Beijing is suffering from the lingering drought,' the report quoted Zhang Qiang, head of the Beijing Weather Modification Office, as saying at the end of last week.

Chinese meteorologists have for years been honing the technique of making rain by injecting special chemicals into clouds.

Although the technique often gets results, a drought in the north of the country has continued for over a decade.

Two-headed baby abandoned in China

Medics in China are looking after a two-headed baby after its mother abandoned it in an irrigation ditch.

Police in Hanzhuang, central China, found the hours-old infant after they recieved reports of a baby crying in the middle of the night.

Doctors say the baby has one fully formed head, and another, smaller, head with only partially formed features attached to it.

The second head has eyes, a nose, mouth and ears.

Yuan Xianrong - the carer temporarily placed in charge of the baby's well-being - said: 'He is completely healthy except for his two heads. It's too early to talk about surgery yet.

But it is amazing that he survived after being dumped in the ditch. It was filled with rubbish and mud and old water.

'When officers picked him up they at first did not realise he had the deformation and thought it was just rubbish stuck to the child

Local officials are still trying to locate the mother.

A KINDERGARTEN teacher has been detained after allegedly stabbing more than 20 children with a syringe to discipline them.

The 24-year-old woman, Sun Qiqi, was taken into custody at the weekend in Yunnan province in southwest China after angry parents complained to police, China Daily reports.

One mother, Zhou Limei, said her four-year-old daughter had been stabbed multiple times, on the back of her left hand and on her bottom.

Sun has confessed, saying she had pricked the children to "tame them".

She claimed that she was overwhelmed by the 37 three and four-year-olds in her charge.
