Excluding Iraq, the infusion would make Georgia one of the largest recipients of American foreign aid after Israel and Egypt.&lt;/blockquote&gt; That Dick Cheney was "sent" by Bush is indicative of the neocon agenda. A tête-à-tête meeting lasted more as it was scheduled. Enlarged

&lt;P class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;SPAN lang="EN-US"&gt;The
sides positively estimated cooperation between Ukraine and the USA. &lt;SPAN class="SpellE"&gt;Yulia&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;SPAN class="SpellE"&gt;Tymoshenko&lt;/SPAN&gt; noted that
during the visit of President of the United States to Kyiv in April this year George
W. Bush could make sure that Ukraine is a democratic country.&lt;O:P&gt;&lt;/O:P&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;SPAN lang="EN-US"&gt;The
Prime Minister of Ukraine informed about positive results of democratic
Government’s work which during 8 months had provided high economic growth rates.

&lt;P class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;SPAN lang="EN-US"&gt;The
meeting also concerned discussion of regional security, retaining stability in

President Victor Yushchenko held a one on one meeting with the Vice President of the United States of America Richard Cheney.
&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;
Opening the meeting President Yushchenko said that the visit of Vice President Cheney is very important for Ukrainian side. “We appreciate greatly our strategic bilateral relations”, - he added.
&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;
Beside that President expressed gratitude to American side for caring for the situation in the region saying “on most of positions, including on Georgia, we have understanding with the USA and the EU”. He also stressed assurance that the situation in Georgia would be settled through peaceful negotiations.
