Bush knew how to act as Commander In Chief when it came to making decisions about what his hand-picked generals were requesting. Barack Obama on the other hand doesn't know how to act as Commander In Chief when it comes to commanding the military.

There is no way to forget the daily shellacking that George W. Bush took during his entire presidency. On some days and on some issues it could get pretty horrific. The far-left fringe were relentless in their attacks and the media just fell right in line with them....and anyone was just plain dumb if they didn't believe what they were saying. George W. Bush couldn't smile without there being an ulterior motive behind it. Bush was so many things, from dumb and lazy, to a liar and conniver and even believed to be a criminal at times. Imagine the outrage coming from the left if Bush had fallen so short of the targeted number of H1N1 Swine Flu vaccine dosages....like by 85 million dosages short. Imagine the outrage if Bush had condoned then House Speaker Dennis Hastert conducting closed door meetings with Republican leaders on nationalized health care, or anything for that matter, and didn't include Democrats or the American public in on the proceedings in those meetings.

We know absolutely no one in Bush family circles and have never met former President George W. Bush or his wife Laura.

If you have been reading us for any length of time, you know that we used to make fun of “Dubya” nearly every day…parroting the same comedic bits we heard in our Democrat circles, where Bush is still, to this day, lampooned as a chimp, a bumbling idiot, and a poor, clumsy public speaker.

Oh, how we RAILED against Bush in 2000…and how we RAILED against the surge in support Bush received post-9/11 when he went to Ground Zero and stood there with his bullhorn in the ruins on that hideous day.

We were convinced that ANYONE who was president would have done what Bush did, and would have set that right tone of leadership in the wake of that disaster. President Gore, President Perot, President Nader, you name it. ANYONE, we assumed, would have filled that role perfectly.

On Iraq, the new president has faithfully followed the policy of George W. Bush, and now Iraq threatens breakdown.

Obama ran on a promise to fight the “right war” in Afghanistan. This policy rests upon the monumental assumption that victory can be found in a military campaign meant to alter the character of Central Asian political and religious society so as to remake it in the American image—what Condoleezza Rice defined a year ago as the Bush administration’s policy, and what is now apparently the Obama policy.

In the time-honored bureaucratic fashion, the president’s military advisers have offered him three troop options—one impossibly high, one suicidally small, and one, the one they actually want, in between, and “just right.”(In poker games, this is known as “forcing” the card onto the patsy.) The troops are already on the move. It will be some time before we see them again.

Throughout America, flags, at half-staff, dangle in the fall breeze to serve as a reminder of the 12 soldiers lives lost at Fort Hood last Thursday. Former President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush made a private trip to Darnell Medical Center at Fort Hood to visit with the families who lost loved ones in the tragedy.

“The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit.” Bush has a ranch about 30 miles from Fort Hood Military Base in Texas. He and Mrs. Bush are said to have spent one to two hours with the mourning families.

In doing so it demonstrated that it will not willingly set limits on its own power and reinforced the need for Congress to step in and reform the so-called 'state secrets' privilege.

The soulless George Bush and his wife Laura, traveled in secret to Ft. Hood to console the wounded, and the families of the murdered. They did this with no fanfare, this was the definition of class and grace, the actions of a true Patriot. Thank you President Bush and Laura for having heart felt empathy for the families that were the victims of this tragedy. It was a touching moment when President Obama with President Bush met with the,,,,,,oh darn wait Obama was not there wow I thought for sure he would go to express his sorrow and support, I guess he was to busy with his best buds Pelosi and Reid. They all got together to give the American people the single finger salute and assured us the health care bill will pass the house come hell or high water.

The leader of the free world, what an embarrassment to all the Presidents before him.

Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura secretly visited Fort Hood last night and spent "considerable time" consoling those who were wounded in Thursday's shooting spree, Fox News has learned.

The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News.

The couple was described as "deeply concerned" about military families on Fort Hood after Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan allegedly opened fire on soldiers and civilians, killing 13 and wounding 38.

Chomsky Says Obama Continues Bush Policy to Control Middle East Oil

Political activist Noam Chomsky says that although President Obama views the Iraq invasion merely as “a mistake” or “strategic blunder,” it is, in fact, a “major crime” designed to enable America to control the Middle East oil reserves.

“It’s (“strategic blunder”) probably what the German general staff was telling Hitler after Stalingrad,” Chomsky quipped, referring to the big Nazi defeat by the Soviet army in 1943.

“There is basically no significant change in the fundamental traditional conception that if we can control Middle East energy resources, then we can control the world,” he said.

“As Obama came into office, (former Secretary of State) Condoleezza Rice predicted he would follow the policies of Bush’s second term, and that is pretty much what happened, apart from a different rhetorical style,” Chomsky said.

Mr Obama seems a curiously bloodless president.

It is often anyone's guess as to whether an event or issue truly moves him.

I never thought I'd hear myself say it," one Democrat told me. "But Obama makes you feel that at least with Bush you knew where he was on something.

When Mr Bush's Republicans were defeated in the 2006 mid-term elections, it was the President himself who stepped up and declared that his party had received "a thumpin'"

Mr Obama acted as if nothing at all had happened.

And to think that it was Mr Bush who was always accused of being "in denial".

More serious perhaps was Mr Obama's strange disconnectedness over the Fort Hood massacre

Completely missing was the eloquence that Mr Obama employs when talking about himself.

It could do him good to show he has a bit of fire in his belly. Perhaps he might make a decision or two based on gut instinct and deep conviction. In other words, maybe he should try being a bit more like Mr Bush.

Italian Court Delivers Damning Verdict on CIA Renditions

A court in Milan has delivered its verdict in the spectacular trial of several CIA agents involved in the 2003 kidnapping of the Islamist Abu Omar. Some 23 American agents received prison terms after being found guilty in absentia. The court's decision is a condemnation of the anti-terror policies of George W. Bush.

In the world's first trial involving the CIA's "extraordinary renditions" program since the Sept. 11 terror attacks, a court in the Italian city of Milan delivered a clear verdict. A total of 23 US agents were convicted in abstentia and sentenced to prison terms over their role in the 2003 kidnapping of the Islamist Abu Omar.

Twenty-two of the Americans were given five year terms while the former Milan CIA station chief Robert Lady was sentenced to eight years in prison. Three US citizens were acquitted, with reference to their diplomatic immunity.
