merrie
clipper's remarks: But you can't automatically disqualify an entry because of a large number of visitors: Stern was among the 393 guests at the White House's St. Patrick's Day event.

As far as I can tell, THE Andrew Stern was the top outside visitor to the White House with approximately 20 visits, or about three visits per month, including four relatively small meetings with the president and a dozen with other White House staffers. Stern has openly bragged about the SEIU's $61 million investment in Barack Obama. It certainly bought him a lot of access.

Update: And while we're on the subject of the SEIU, here's an interesting entry: On March 3, ACORN spokesman Scott Levenson met with White House political affairs director Patrick Gaspard, who came to the White House from SEIU. Unsurprising, given the groups' close ties. I wonder what they talked about.

10/30

Clip Source: corner.nationalreview.com

The White House has posted 481 visitor records, covering requested names from the period between January and July. But as White House special counsel Norm Eisen points out, not all the names belong to the people you think they do:

A lot of people visit the White House, up to 100,000 each month, with many of those folks coming to tour the buildings. Given this large amount of data, the records we are publishing today include a few “false positives” –

Nevertheless, we were asked for those names and so we have included records for those individuals who were here and share the same names.

I've been playing with the list and figured out a useful tip for weeding out false positives: Look at the "Total people" category in the spreadsheet. The Andrew Stern who had a one-on-one with Rahm Emanuel in February is probably the president of the SEIU. The one who toured the White House with 542 other people is probably a different guy.

Tags: acorn scott levenson, political affairs director patrick gaspard-from se, seiu's $61 million investment in barack obama

<clipSource>http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=YTM5NDNmM2JiZmUwMGU0M2JkODBlNmVkZmMwNTg1NzU=</clipSource>

Autistic artist Stephen Wiltshire draws spellbinding 18ft picture of New York from memory... after a 20-minute helicopter ride over city

clipped by: pennyserenade

Clip Source: www.dailymail.co.uk

This astonishing 18ft drawing of the world’s most famous skyline was created by autistic artist Stephen Wiltshire after he spent just 20 minutes in a helicopter gazing at the panorama.

The unbelievably intricate picture was drawn at Brooklyn’s prestigious Pratt Institute from Stephen’s memory, with details of every building sketched in to scale.

Landmarks including the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building can be seen towering above smaller buildings after just three days in his spellbinding creation.

that he could count down the days until Christmas. She placed 24 sweets onto
a piece of cardboard and each day the young Gerhard would take and eat a
sweet. When he grew up Gerhard Lang made the first printed advent calendar
	in 1908.

Later, in 1946, we see Richard Sellmer producing calendars in
Germany. The US authorities had to grant him a license in the now post war
Germany which led to his advent calendars becoming known and indeed very
	popular in the USA.

Sellmer's first advent calendar was called 'The Little Town'. The
calendar had pictures of many buildings in the town and you would open the
windows and the doors to find nice things underneath for each day of advent.

By

In the past decade, the city has become more progressive with designing new housing communities and condominium buildings on the same wavelength as those offered in Manhattan. However, not until recently has a building successfully gained this level of status and prominence.

Clip Source: www.crystalpointagent.com

Tags: crystal point, crystal point condos, crystal point jersey city, jersey city, real estate, condos

<clipSource>http://www.crystalpointagent.com/</clipSource>

AH Flex Cash

clipped by: tweezer
clipper's remarks: ?

Clip Source: www.answers.com

Hays, city (1990 pop. 17,767), seat of Ellis co., W central Kans.; inc. 1885. Fort Hays was established (1865) 14 mi (23 km) southeast of the city, on a stagecoach road to Denver. The fort was abandoned in 1889 and the land turned over to the state with the understanding that it be used for a school, an agricultural experiment station, and a state park. The school has grown into Fort Hays Kansas State Univ.; the agricultural experiment station (laid out 1901) is one of the world's largest; and Frontier Historical Park, a state historic site, contains the fort's surviving buildings.

<clipSource>http://www.answers.com/hays</clipSource>
