This "water pipe providing sexual stimulation" seems to be just too depraved to be true. In instances such as this, I find it best to let the patent do the talking:

But posting suggestive videos of yourself on YouTube, filling your Facebook page with photos of your latest beer bong-a-thon, or blogging about how much you wish your current employer would implode, aren't the only ways to blow your chances of landing a new job. (Yes, Virginia, like it or not, hiring managers do Google you.)

Some digital deal breakers are less obvious. So, if you're thinking about using a personal site, an online resume, a job search site, or a social networking site to woo potential employers, listen up.

Proteins in the brain may be the key to un-learning fear—or retaining memory.

Unlearning a fear may sound simple, but for years neuroscientists believed such emotion was entrenched, set in stone by fixed neuronal networks in the brain, and thus unaffected by new information. Now a study led by Bong-Kiun Kaang at Seoul National University has altered that view: Every time a long-term memory or an associated emotion, like fear, is retrieved, proteins found in the synapses between neurons are degraded, allowing that memory to be updated by incoming information.

To demonstrate how the fear-altering process works, Kaang and his colleagues put mice into a box with a wire mesh bottom and shocked them for one second, teaching them to fear the box.

The reason for the recall: The bong users have reported that they are not getting high. College students and other marijuana smokers across the country have flooded the company’s switchboard with calls stating that they have been failing to achieve a good buzz since they started using the company’s latest bongs.

Every caller reported having purchased a Bongs-R-Us bong in 2007 via local head shops or via the internet. All of the bongs reported have “Bongs-R-Us-2007” inscribed on the bottom.

A spokesman for the company, Hans Hammer told Red Tractor USA that “We are having a hard time getting our hands around the situation – pardon the pun. For every customer that we have talked to who says they can’t get buzzed using our bongs, we hear from another three that tell us that they just got completely whacked using our fine product.”

Grave Diggers Admit They Used Skull as Bong

Three Kingwood were arrested after admitting to Houston police they had dug up a child’s corpse, removing the skull and then turning it into a bong which they used to smoke marijuana.

"They cut the jaw off of it and wrapped it in electrical tape and used it to make a bong," Officer Jim Adkins tells the local Fox affiliate.

Kevin Wade Jones, 17, and Matthew Richard Gonzalez, 17, were arrested Wednesday night and are being held on misdemeanor charges of corpse abuse.

The corpse’s skull could not be recovered.

Marijuana advocate wins $800 award

He was vindicated Monday and awarded $800.

Merced County Superior Court Judge Ron Hansen ruled that Matthews deserved $300 as compensation for the 26.5 grams of marijuana confiscated by Merced police and an additional $500 for the pain and suffering for the time he went without his medicine. Matthews had first sought $7,500.

Sam Matthews hits a bong for his daily dose of marijuana last summer. Matthews is a medical marijuana patient, one of four in Merced County.

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Authorities in Texas have filed corpse-abuse charges against two men who allegedly removed a skull from a grave and used it as a bong.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office confirmed on Thursday that misdemeanor abuse of corpse charges have been filed in the case.

One of the men allegedly told police they dug up a grave in an abandoned cemetery in the woods, removed a head from a body and smoked marijuana using the skull as a bong.

Police found the cemetery and a grave that had been disturbed but are still investigating the rest of the story, officials said.

Two men and a juvenile are accused of digging up a corpse, decapitating the body and using the head to smoke marijuana, according to court documents.

Matthew Gonzalez and Kevin Jones have been charged with the misdemeanor offense of abuse of a corpse

According to documents filed in the case, Gonzalez, Jones and an unnamed juvenile on March 15 went to an Humble cemetery, dug up a man's grave, left with the head and turned it into a "bong."

Gonzalez told authorities about the incident Wednesday, and showed officers the defaced grave, including a 4-foot hole. Because of a heavy rain, officers were unable to determine whether the casket or the body had been disturbed.
